still won't open much. Only had it open once and the rest the album just opens wich means it aint that stable. But atleast we got something working on 3.0 that's what counts xd

Pretty cool fact (time taken to initial homebrew launcher from system launch):
3DS - 3 years, 8 months
Switch - 0 years, 11 months

And for 3ds there was technically a pay wall because cubic ninja
Ds flashcards do not run 3ds homebrew. Gateway was bound to specific firmwares and fairly expensive considering what it actually was
No, and from what I've heard they don't plan on adding support any time soon.

So, if they don't plan on adding support for firmware past 3.0.0, what benefit do the 4.x.x hacks have to the end user? I'm genuinely curious.
I'm not sure if this fact is pro-3ds scene in any way.
I think it's great homebrew is out-in-front this time around. The entire scene will be better off in the long run.

its just a homebew launcher, just keep playing yalls 3ds for the time being
Switchbrew doesn't plan on adding the support (which is the ones who made this). Reswitched plans on making cfw that will run homebrew from the home menu in some way for any firmware with a trustzone exploit, so any current firmware.
It gets a bit confusing because people forget or don't know that there are two main teams working on the switch right now. Switchbrew is right now exclusively working for 3.0.0 hbl and homebrew, reswitched right now is more focusing on getting cfw running to allow homebrew on more devices and be able to play newer games when the times come (specifically being able to use homebrew and play/hack pokemon switch)
