You do realize that Monado in XC1, did you finish that game? Shulk didn't pick the Monado for fun, he was meant to be, the end will explain everything."Oh look he can wield the Monado and without him we're fluff expendables!" Reminds me of Krillin always looking for Goku for help.
I think his point was more that shulk was so much more powerful than the rest of the party lorewise. Where as Rex & pyra are basically even in power with the party (until the end). You do realize that Monado in XC1, did you finish that game? Mythra was overpowered, she can even do blade combo alone, but of course she should be the overpowered blade in the game otherwise the Aegis name will be a joke, the same goes with Monado, that's why the game is called Xenoblade, because the story is about an overpowered blade outside from this world.I think his point was more that shulk was so much more powerful than the rest of the party lorewise. the first 5 hours were so boring, so the first game, i agree the map system is the worst in games history, but u will get used to it.I absolutely loved the first game (put +250 hs on it).
I played 5 hours of this one during this weekend and I found it to be very frustrating. There are a lot quality of life downgrades... the map system is the worst I've seen, the tutorials are annoying and don't explain anything, you can't even re-watch them. The main problem for me is the map, it's so uncomfortable to use that discourages exploration (the main selling point of this franchise). Why change it? It worked perfectly on the first game.
Also, I'm starting to feel that the game is bloated with systems upon systems upon systems. The original game wan't simple either, but it did a good enough job in introducing the battle system intricacies, and also they made sense to the overall plot (e.g. the future predictions).
That's what's been so frustrating so far... I found every single change from the first game to be unnecessary and detrimental to the overall experience. I'm playing and thinking all the time "The first game did this 10 times better".
I will keep playing in hope to get used to all these changes.
Shulk was more like a key to winning. You couldn't do much without him, but rex you can do enough without him. Unless you have shulk using monando arts to do stuff like enchant other players with buffs (One which is required to just hit mechonis type enemies) While others are just to avoid attacks with monando arts, you basically just have more use for him.I think his point was more that shulk was so much more powerful than the rest of the party lorewise. Where as Rex & pyra are basically even in power with the party (until the end).
We can not be friends. As for this game's characters and story, it seems abit more focuse unlike the first where the story seems kinda unbalanced. "Oh look he can wield the Monado and without him we're fluff expendables!"
BoTW was fine, try climbing or swimming in TPxenoblade 2 is slow?
have you tried climbing, swimming, walking on Zelda BoTW?
"he was meant to be" is just them being lazy with the story. Yes I know the ending explains everything, but can they do better with the story instead of making all the characters fluffs except for the major two? Overall it disappointed ME. Not you, me. The other one character that randomly shows up in your quests I don't feel surprised, betrays you and the character that thought was dead didn't wasn't surprising as well since it's obvious they've already established a history with the protagonist. You do realize that Monado in XC1, did you finish that game? Shulk didn't pick the Monado for fun, he was meant to be, the end will explain everything.
Why didn't you go with the D-pad shell for the left joycon?Jrpg's are generally slow within the first 2-3 chapters you gotta let story unfold more to get into the meat of all things. In this game you still had tutorials in your face up to ch3 but they are vital to when the game does get faster.
Its not Persona 5 paced, but once you understand how different blades work and obtaining rare blades then you will be singing a different tune of interest. BOTW is more character independent so the story will always keep moving forward b/c your not heavily focused on other characters not sure if that was good comparison towards this game since character development slows down the story to reveal a character's background/past. If you skipped tutorials then that's probably your 1st big mistake not knowing how the combat works contributes slow gameplay
I didn't have a shell for it only comes with joycon and the Switch backplate shells. Also came with colored buttons like a New 3DS but decided not use themWhy didn't you go with the D-pad shell for the left joycon?
