Hacking Can't boot into SafeB9SInstaller despite the files being in the right place

My sd card is formatted as fat32, and at this point everything that is on one card is on the other. Everything from the flashcart firmware to the files needed to boot SafeB9SInstaller is on both sd cards in the ds and flashcart, but I still can not get passed booting into it. The 3DS XL simply continues on as normal despite holding down start select X and power. Any ideas or tips?

As you load up? It’s finicky so you just have to keep trying until you get your systems sweet spot :/

Ys as I load up. I hold the magnet there until I give up and turn my ds off again. I have been at this for over an hour. It has to be something else.

Would reformatting both sd cards help? Can anyone tell me?

Can you try finding the sweet spot again while your system is on? Then once you do, start again with the power off, leave the magnet in place of where it triggered, then hold the buttons and then power system on and do not release any buttons until you notice a change in the power light or screen

Edit: also where do you have your sd card? In the system or the flash card?

I have an sd card in both. I have found the magnet's sweet spot and I hold it there, but still nothing.

What flashcard are you using? Did you flash the flashcard with ntrboot already?

I have figured out my my mistake. i flashed my cart with the wrong ds_ntrboot_flasher. I did not use the _dsi version.
