Hacking How likely will my PSN account be banned if hack my PS3?

I want to hack my PS3, but I don't want my PSN account to be banned. What is the likelihood of it being banned? And can it be easily unbanned?

80% chance that you can get banned and it's impossible to unban your PSN but if your console gets banned you can use another idps to unban it

I did the mistake of going cfw with auto sign-in, now I fear all my games are going down the shitter if and when my account gets closed.

You can use psnpatch and other stealth apps to hide your PSN and console ID, but some games have some weird bugs if you run these apps, like missing ambient noise and little things like that. So far I have not been banned.

Is playstation bans different than nintendo bans? I mean on 3DS bans just mean you can't play games online, but can still buy stuff right? Access to eshop? So maybe you just can't play online or something.

PSNPatch locks access to PSN. And when you do need access it makes your system look as un-CFW as possible.

Though I've found that there's enough tools and such on CFW that you really don't need access to PSN.

But yes. Auto sign in should be off.

Been rocking PSNinja + PSNPatch for over a year and syncing trophies and shit from downloaded games to my main account. No issues whatsoever.

when i got my psn banned few years ago, which i had other consoles linked to same PSN account(psdead, ps4), i lost all purchased licences included psn+ free games, and prevents u to play online. certainly sure that Sony will detect and ban ur ps3 for exploiting/cfw, u have to create another ps account just to keep safe ur purchased games on ur main and likely, always stay offline.

p.s. years of pirating as revenge, definitely worth it.

Revenge? Revenge for what? The revenge you are talking about was just what you did TO get banned.

If we pirate, we deserve bans. I'll take responsibility if Sony hits me with their ban hammer. But if I can't run backups using my main PSN account, then there's no point for me.

All I can say from my experience so far is that if you get banned, you didn't take any precautions.

i own my ps3 and i have right to do whatever i want about my console, plus i've never pirated on M$ console even there's Jtag/dvd player hacks, year of ps3 pirating i even helped other people to get CFW, to get $ony to lost other money and i got my SWEET SWEET REVENGE!

While I agree that having full software control of our devices is our right, illegally downloading and consuming copyrighted material isn't RIGHT. Yeah, I do it too. There's nothing to justify it though in the big view of things IMO.

If Sony or Ninty can find me and ban me, then I hope they do.

Just like Sony have the right to ban you form the PSN for stealing their games or using unauthorised software online... seems fair to me.
