I have snes games loading I just cangt seem to get any other games that I had on my NES mini modded to work do I still just drag those games over to the SNES games folder. I am guessing I have to change all the max player options?
You don't have to change any options. Just install the retroarch module and drag the games over then synchronize.

Probably been mentioned before. Finally got round to adding more games tonight. Had all kinds of trouble...turned out it was the USB cable I was using wasnt secure enough.

Make sure you use the cable provided. Ive had a look at my micro usb cables and at least in my collection there are two types, some of the ends are slightly longer and its this type that the SNES mini prefers, the slightly shorter type isnt secure enough

In the previous page someone mentioned that Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3 have problems but the spreadsheet says otherwise? Can anyone confirm

Hi guys, thanks so much to the developers of hakchi for the mini snes update :)
I'm using snes9x plugin to run Tales of Phantasia and Star Ocean but unfortunately I'm missing the CRT filter, is there a way to enable it through the emulator settings?
Also, I have seen a compatibility list somewhere but I can't find it anymore, can someone please repost a link for it? Thanks!

This does not work for me. Here are my command line arguments that I've tried.

First attempt: /bin/clover-canoe-shvc-wr -rom /usr/share/games/CLV-U-LZZZU/Home_Alone_(USA).sfrom.7z --volume 100 -rollback-snapshot-period 600 --retroarch
Result: Immediate C7 error

Second attempt: /bin/clover-canoe-shvc-wr -rom /usr/share/games/CLV-U-LZZZU/Home_Alone_(USA).sfrom.7z --volume 100 -rollback-snapshot-period 600 --retroarch --core snes
Result: Immediate C7 error

The only thing that even seems to remotely work is KMDFManic's workaround of sticking the SFC in a 7Z file, then zipping up the 7Z file and adding that to hackchi with the command line argument /bin/snes /usr/share/games/CLV-Z-GWOZD/Goof_Troop_(U)_[!].7z.*

But even then I get a C7 error when I hit Reset. Any thoughts on troubleshooting?

*Goof Troop doesn't launch with the command line args above either

I updated my Cores to handle the --retroarch command, as I stated I would:) I will post them soon.

NOTE: If you get non-displaying Art, put fewer games into each folder, til it shows. Cluster will do his best to address little memory conflicts like this:)

Fighting for space so I can play that damned Barbie Game!

I have a SNES Classic but not a NES Classic. I am a bit confused by Hakchi2 hack because I don't know exactly what it does. I know that you can easily use it to add SNES ROMs to a SNES Classic and even add an emulator/core manager like RetroArch but can you add ROMs and use the original SNES Classic emulator to run them or once you use Hakchi2 the games are played on SNES9X emulator?

In short, can I add games and play them on the original SNES Classic emulator?

Most games work fine with the built in SNES emulator. You don't need RetroArch unless some games don't work...which you can have those use if you like.

Yes you can use the internal snes mini emulator although some games won't work like Star Ocean, if that's the case you can use the snes9x core plugin to make them work.

I don’t believe the SNESC emulator has been ripped yet, but when it is all you’ll have to do is install its driver in Hackchi after removing SNES9X’s driver.

I don't know what he means, is Hakchi2 using SNES9X for the added games once you install it on SNES Classic? I'm confused.

How are you fitting 217 games on there? Are they all "double zipped" like you showed in a previous video? If so, you'd need retroarch to play them. Yet in this video you opened some of them with canoe. Or can you actually fit 217 on there with Hakchi's default zipping when adding games?

Hakchi2 uses the built in snes emulator for any games added unless you install the SNES9X(RetroArch) core and add a command to a game.

My genesis plus gx core works flawlessly. It can even run Sega CD. You are most likely configuring the command line wrong.

Anything special we need to do to run Sega CD using your core?

I'd imagine we need to compress the game a bit, and curious about the audio as well since I thought that took up a lot of space per game. I really want to start running Sega CD, esp that sonic 3d that never came out..

Thanks, I haven't tried it yet and I wanted to know what Hakchi2 does first of all.

@Sappoide Thanks to you, too!

EDIT: Does anybody know how many SNES games you can add normally without doing weird things like skipping artwork or double-compressing?
