huh... well I have played a few different minecraft clones on android some of which looked alright,, but I sucked at minecraft,, I always die as soon as it becomes night time,, but I might get this for the hell of it, I have terraria but still haven't played it lol

I highly recommend Minecraft PE or the PC version. The 3DS one is inexcusably laggy and the controls are pretty awful.

Biggest thing I noticed - and reason I IMMEDIATELY stopped playing - no 3D support. Dev said it's coming "real soon" so I have hopes, but as a non-fan of Minecraft to begin with, the 3d effect was the one thing I was really looking forward to having read the announcement (tried VR on the phone and while it was awesome - controls were crap). So - here's to waiting for 3d before I hop back onto the game.

I liked the controls on n3ds.

But the pc version is the best.

Is it? Minecraft is perfect for 3D, it is lame that it doesn't (yet) have it.

Nope - not in 3d... (and I don't it's 2D like Terraria - I just mean that it doesn't have the stereo 3d without glasses effect that made the 3DS so famous to begin with).

Does this use the same generator as the pc version? (It looks like a W10 port to me.) I'd like to see if it had those mansions in the roofed forest biomes.
On a side note, are the beacon blocks in the game? I can't seem to find them in the creative menu, but it looks like there's stuff from later patches in.
I was going to bring up the random hololens files that's in the game, but that's not relevant to the topic. oop

I don't know what's goin' on :/
Started to play this version of minecraft because I was bored.
Haven't played Minecraft for years.
Played a bit, was able to build a Obsidiangate to get to the Nether.
Can someone explain why the Nether is so... empty`?

Maybe a glitch?
Try in another world and see what happens.

just downloaded it last night,, have yet to try it out, I suck at minecraft but oh well,, been playing samus returns lol

I have yet to find diamonds. It's ridiculous. Several hours put in. So much gold though.
Once I found the village, it was empty. Like all the Villagers were slaughtered before I even discovered it.
Found a couple glitches. Sunflowers drop 2 sunflowers when destroyed.
Also when I ran and jumped, I somehow got stuck in place with tall grass. I reloaded my save and all was okay. Thank god I did not save it and reload.
Framerates are real, real bad.

I can't believe how rare diamonds must be.
