Actually, having Rosalina listed as a patch would be kinda cool..
But until that happens make your button combo LRABXY, you never hit all those buttons while playing (and if you do add start and select to the button combo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Why, he's a pianist!

Like be real with me here, @Aurora Wright . How difficult would it be to implement this? Not asking if it's necessary or worthwhile, how difficult would it be?
It would take about 3 or 4 minutes at most. Those are 3 or 4 minutes that could be spent not implementing a useless toggle for a toggle that could potentially confuse users.

What is the option to disable crash dumps? Is it "disable exception handlers"? Just to know what I should toggle when editing software library with Cthulu to not get a crash dump when it errors when exiting...

I think that's the point. Look at my previous post.
Then sorry but I exclude changing stuff based on psychological relief... (and only one user feeling confused seeing a toggle and asking themselves if they need it enabled or not turns the total balance of this feature from "pointless" to "detrimental")
Please understand™

Do you realize "stopping it from listening" has no advantage beyond psychological relief of some sort?
Of course I do. But I still want to be able to turn it off and on.

So in the time that it's taken to debate this topic, it could've been added in no hassle at all?

I don't mean to be rude, but I'm not OCD or anything like that. I just want to be able to turn off a function.

Exception handlers turns off the detailed crash log Luma spits out iirc

it could also potentially confuse users who don't know what it is - just one user being negatively affected by this changes the feature from being a useless feature implemented because someone was bitching on temp to a "feature" that has a detrimental affect on the CFW.

I don't think it'd be detrimental to the CFW at all. How would it confuse users? Having to tell them to re-enable Rosalina isn't exactly difficult.

So you admit you're being irrational, yet still want the developers to oblige you?

"What does this option do? Oh no, now I can't access rosalina, what happened?"

Don't pretend this isn't a likely situation with noobs. As soon as this happens, the CFW was made worse for a user based on one user's illogical ramblings and irrational desires.

Everything I say gets turned into an attack. I bet this'll be turned into an attack too.
You don't like Luma features = You are a troll and devs's work hater

Funny logic.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I still use Luma, although I haven't exactly had a good experience in this thread now/with the devs of it.

I guarantee that simply explaining they turned off the menu would clear it up perfectly.

Which is more work on our end (developers and issue maintainers) which can simply be avoided
Then how about you consider the possibility of the opposite? Noobs not disabling the menu, and understand what disabling the menu would entail.

It sounds like you're patronizing your end users.

As soon as a user needs to go to ask for help, it's a pain for everyone involved (helpers AND users) that could have been avoided by not implementing the most useless feature I've ever seen requested to this CFW.
