EDIT: nevermind, just found HBmenu 2.0 under rosalina then Bootntr 3DSx, it works very well as intended, I'll try Gen 6 rng'ing soon.

In Gen 6, wild RNG is done with sweet scent or honey - this will almost always cause a horde battle, and while there is no guide for horde RNG, it's pretty easy if you know how to calibrate your delay and have the latest pcalc and 3DSRNGTool.

However, this also means that you'll only be limited to the horde Pokemon in the area you're RNGing in and limits what you can and cannot RNG. For almost every Pokemon, Egg RNG is your best option.

Yeah, go into the Party View and look at Slot 7, which will show your TSV and the TSV and PSV of a Pokemon someone in a trade is showing you.

Hi, I posted this in r/pokemonrng but didn't really get any answers so I'm hoping someone here can figure out whats going on. I was RNG abusing a Shiny Xerneas wondercard on my Y cartridge and made sure I was on the correct even/odd frame cycle of the frame I was trying to hit. However, after speaking to the delivery lady, the game switches to the opposite frame cycle. This also happened while I was RNG abusing a Celebi wondercard in AS, so it's not just in XY. This also happens randomly, since sometimes it doesn't switch. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Short answer: consider this a timing error at the moment which you won't be able to do much about right now. For the moment, look at possible spreads you'd like to hit only after you begin talking to the delivery lady. In this way, you'll be guaranteed your RNG.

thanks for answering! I've been mainly going for spreads that are appearing on consecutive frames so it hasn't been much of an issue, just wanted to bring it up in case I was doing anything wrong that was causing the issue.

Hey everyone! Within the next 48 hours, pokeCalcNTR will be getting some pretty big updates for both the Gen 6 and 7 plugins!

Lots of nice and new features, including reseeding support, lag reduction, new information displayed, and more for Gen 6!

Thanks! The update will come earlier than the 48 hour mark I set with more features than listed here. I'm pretty thrilled about this update.

Edit: Transporter has been pretty fun, and actually done for over a month now. There are some unique mechanics it has though, and they're fun to abuse.

Been away for a while, mostly because I'm so content on the use of these tools for obtaining 5-6IV shiny legends and events. I've had to maintain a google spreadsheet to keep track of them all!

I can't for the life of me figure out how to RNG Kyogre on my AS save. I've managed to RNG a 5IV shiny Regirock which I've read is also troublesome, but the delay wasn't so hard to figure out. Does anyone have an idiots guide I could check out? What I've read so far doesn't seem to cut it.

Edit: By what looks like sheer dumb luck I've managed to RNG a 31/00/31/31/31/31 Modest Kyogre. Fortune favours the brave I guess. Would still like some clarity on this as I have no idea how I managed to do it.
