noCan we disable the boot splash screen? Not a fan of it tbh, and it bothers me a little.
A splash is required by the 3DS, and it's technically illegal to use the normal 3ds splash due to copyright issues. The one used by FreeShop is just the default one for the toolset used to build it.Can we disable the boot splash screen? Not a fan of it tbh, and it bothers me a little.
Ah I see.. I forgot that GitHub took it down before over the splash.A splash is required by the 3DS, and it's technically illegal to use the normal 3ds splash due to copyright issues. The one used by FreeShop is just the default one for the toolset used to build it.
You can just update your key site URL. It'll autodownload. Will the freeshop 2.2 version also have the updated cache and games if I put the latest enctitlekeys.bin file in the folder, I like the old version without any frills and it works great hence my question as I don't want to upgrade right now
I posted the C code on the guys repo to encrypt keys on PC, hopefully he implements itWould it be possible to have freeshop be able to use the decrypted title keys and encrypt them itself provided boot9.bin is available?
Yep, i can confirm itFound a bug: when using C-stick, if you're on the last tab (the Search one) and move C-stick to the right, freeShop crashes
How come he doesn't use the pretty one that some other homebrew uses? The blue one with waving lines.A splash is required by the 3DS, and it's technically illegal to use the normal 3ds splash due to copyright issues. The one used by FreeShop is just the default one for the toolset used to build it.
I don't understand. That's what he uses...How come he doesn't use the pretty one that some other homebrew uses? The blue one with waving lines.
He does use the blue one with the lines, as of the latest release, atleastHow come he doesn't use the pretty one that some other homebrew uses? The blue one with waving lines.
Oh ok, cool. I wonder why people would be complaining then :-pHe does use the blue one with the lines, as of the latest release, atleast
Maybe it makes them sea sick.Oh ok, cool. I wonder why people would be complaining then :-p
It's too bright, and does not fit the FreeShop's UI tbh. Blue and then brownish/grey-ish background colour. Maybe he could do what the dev of FBI did with FBI, and just put a FreeShop splash instead.Maybe it makes them sea sick.
