A splash is required by the 3DS, and it's technically illegal to use the normal 3ds splash due to copyright issues. The one used by FreeShop is just the default one for the toolset used to build it.
You can just update your key site URL. It'll autodownload.
I want to thank the OP for the wonderful work in the freeshop continuity, but I would like to know if already has a topic about themes or how to do them? thanks in advance.

How come he doesn't use the pretty one that some other homebrew uses? The blue one with waving lines.

Maybe it makes them sea sick.
It's too bright, and does not fit the FreeShop's UI tbh. Blue and then brownish/grey-ish background colour. Maybe he could do what the dev of FBI did with FBI, and just put a FreeShop splash instead.
