Dio, I have a little question. I still use SaltySD because I completed the game and mainly just use Nova Sun for Shiny hunting. However, the LayeredFS version doesn't work with NTR cheats, at least in my experience. When the code.bin patches get updated for 1.2, could you re-add a SaltySD version?

Hi, i install the patch (right now xD)
But i see there´s a patch v1.2 for pokemon but i have v1.1 (It works, but i dont kmow if it can work really)
So im asking if this can make any problem to my new save or something? (Using the legit build)

You can do it yourself once SaltySD gets updated. That's if shinyquagsire even bothers updating it.

Read the OP. Nova Sun and Umbra Moon v1.5 work with 1.2 (in fact, they only work with 1.2).
The Hack don't want to work after the 1.2 update!
Follow the instructions in the second post for deleting the older version properly, then update NS/UM to the new v1.5.

SaltySD works with v1.2, according to SaltySD's GitHub and shinyquagsire on Twitter.

Then there you go. You can create your own SaltySD patch and put the romfs folder's contents in its appropriate location if you need SaltySD for whatever reason.

Random question: Can I use mega evolution before the postgame? I caught a wild pokemon with a Mega Stone equipped so I was wondering if I could use it.

Is there a download for 1.4? I don't want to update my Sun to 1.2 but I want to play this.
I'm not going to host outdated downloads here. If you uninstall all your Sun and Moon updates, you can use v1.5 with the shop.cro file that's included in the Distribution Pack, but what you should do is update your Sun/Moon to v1.2.

Then I lose my battle videos, which are special to me for sentimental reasons. I'll just google for an old build, but thanks anyway.

Thanks, but I already downloaded a .cia of the 1.4 build and I'm just gonna extract the romfs myself.
Just so you know, that won't work. Shop.cro is a file that needs to match the version of the game, .3ds and .cia builds have a v1.0 shop.cro. You need a v1.1 Nova Sun & Umbra Moon shop.cro which I guess I'll link here. You really should convert your battle videos and update Sun and Moon though, because if you stay on 1.1 you won't be able to make any more sentimental battle videos.

Put the file you download from that link in the luma/titles/{TITLEID}/romfs/ folder in the Drag & Drop package before you copy to your SD.

Thank you, sorry for being difficult, I just have my reasons. Hope I didn't make you too upset with me, I really do appreciate all the work you've done here. (I also completed Star Sapphire all the way :D)

Quick update to Version 1.6.
Mostly small bug fixes and incredibly minor balance tweaks this time.
  • Fixed Electabuzz's Electirizer Evolution method.
  • Expanded Builds: Ferroseed moved to Lush Jungle.
  • Expanded Builds: Cherubi moved to Melemele Meadow.
  • Expanded Builds: Fletchling in Wela Volcano Park are now encountered as Fletchinder.
  • The Lv40 Aerodactyl received in the Seafolk Village now comes with Aerodactylite attached.
  • Adjusted Ferroseed's Level Up moveset to better accommodate its later encounter level.
  • Adjusted Ferrothorn's Level Up moveset to better accomodate Ferroseed's later encounter level.
  • Minor changes to some Level Up movesets
  • Minor text changes

This is amazing! I signed up to the forum just to say thanks to you for putting in so much work.

I've stopped playing Pokémon because it was too easy and too much grinding, but I will try the Nova Sun version instead.

One question - will there be any confusion if I play this mod in a different language to English, for example, Japanese where the text isn't modified?
