I'm new to 3DS game modding. I've been using the NTR version and resetting softlocks the game. Is there any way to fix this? Does resetting with HANS also softlock the game? If it doesn't, then does it work with digital versions of Fates?
There is no way to fix the NTR issue, I believe HANS does the same thing, and HANS doesn't like Fates very much, either physical or digital.
For NTR, you can just do a battle save and load your normal save instead. It lets you reload a save without actually resetting so it doesn't soft-lock.
If the support already exists but the dialogue doesn't you should be fine importing a dialogue as long as the support table is not altered from when you created the save.
when do you think you'll start implementin support conversations for the amiibos? theres a lot of cool stuff I want to try out in this mod, but I want to do it in one playthrough and the amiibo stuff seems awesome so I kinda want to wait on it.
Exactly. Adding the support options is a lot easier than writing conversations. The conversations are a work in progress and are slowly being added.

1. Yes, but it's recommended to do the NTR method with digital games. Follow http://3ds.guide to get CFW then come back here afterwards for someone to help you get NTR set up. HANS doesn't play well with digital titles, or with Fates in general.Heya, I have a few questions!

I'm pretty sure I put the NTR CFW folders where they're supposed to be (the root) and launched fates with the bootNTR-mode3, but I still don't get the same-sex supports. I've been trying to get this on my NA Birthright digital copy-
I'm kind of a noob to this stuff, did I miss something or will it not work with what I have?

Your problem is that you are using Mode 3, which is only good for MHXX, SunMoon, Smash or any other extended memory games. Fates does not need Mode 3. Install the normal version of BootNTR Selector and try again.
If that doesn't work, you've gotten your files out of place and please post screenshots of your SD card root and your plugin folder.

I've been searching through some threads here to see if anyone has been able to give the amiibo units included in this patch personal skills and months ago someone actually did, but unfortunately they never mentioned how they managed that...

You're playing Birthright but you copied the files for the Special Edition. Copy over the Birthright folders and try again.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other. -

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet
