So I been using loadiine ready dump. USA. I also Have Eur for some reason. I cleaned my computer. Saved the game in hard drive. I got the game out of hard drive for smash explorer. Everything been good and been using Meteor. I haven't played my mods yet been mostly downloading, then I realize, why can't I extract? turns out I accidentally saved the Europe version. I can still use smashexplorer and mod it. It's still set to USA. If I need to extract I just use another smash explorer that reads EUR. If I patch it will it brick my Wii U? I mean smashexplorer says USA cause i made it think that. It knows i'm lying of course lol

Anyone aware if there is a general fix for "ZLib error -5: Not enough room in provided buffer"? I've been flipping through the thread and have seen it effecting multiple different files/folder.

For me it seems hung up on figures, giving me errors around "data/ui/replace/figure/fig_13/fig_13_Dekunomi.nut"

Has anybody who uses the JPN version of Sm4sh gotten this program to work? Whenever I do it, it crashes after "GAME SET" appears, regardless of what mods I have installed. I want to determine whether I've set it up incorrectly or Sm4shexplorer is actually broken for the JPN version, so it would be very helpful.

Japanese Wii U. Not sure what you mean by "do you have japanese on smash explorer," but the game region is definitely set to JPN.

Can anyone help me out? I'm looking for information as opposed to making my own version of "Smash Explorer," except instead of using it for "Smash brothers", I would be using it to modify "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild" for the Nintendo Wii U. I have Zero (0%) knowledge on what I should be looking for, but I'm optimistic I'll find a ground to stand on.
I believe I should be looking for some type of exploring program that'll allow me to see the contents of BOTW in the same manner as Smash Explorer does for smash brothers. I think it should be fairly simple, considering it's a Wii U title, the game is out and dumped, and all I really want to do is modify the textures so I can play a (to what I'd like to accomplish) more redefined version. Mostly improve upon the textures and make the textures a little bit more personal for myself and others. if anyone is capable of even just directing me towards some information, I'm willing to learn the process as to what it takes to accomplish this goal.

Is there a way to reset the entire thing? Like say I want to put new mods and music without taking out each one, is there a fast way to do that?

Oh, crap! I deleted important files and even though I've dumper the game again, Sm4shexplorer still won't read them (because it does dump everything and DLC... so it has to be something on Sn4shexplorer's end, right?

What happened was that I was going to put ".nut"-files from a mod, to replace an Omega Stage. However, while I did add them, in their respective "stage_[number]..." folders, it turned out that I had to go to the replace-section under "append". So when I wanted to remove my misplaced mod files... the original was gone as well? And even though I, as I said, dump the whole game (+DLC) again, Sm4shexplorer will not show me the original files which I previously had replaced with my files... they just doesn't show up, in any form. Poof.

Why, and what can be done to solve this problem?

EDIT: Aside from a new dump, I also opened it - using a new extract of the Sm4shexplorer folder.

Smash Explorer won't pack chr files anymore. Every time I build a mod, the chr files are duplicated in their respective folders with smaller file sizes and there's a packed file that crashes the game. I've been trying to fix this for weeks and have gotten nowhere. My Smash Explorer version isn't the problem, because I've re downloaded Smash Explorer several times and it still packs wrong. It isn't my SD card because it builds wrong in Smash Explorer, not the SD. It isn't any specific mod I have, because absolutely every chr file is affected, even ones extracted from my dump and I can load all of my mods fine if I remove the chr folder. I'm using 0.07.1 with v288 and everything used to work fine before a few weeks ago. Region is USA, language is English and I only have the patch.

Is this on the most recent version or others as well?

Troubleshooting and known issues
  • Game doesnt start/softlock during loading screens: It usually means that a resource can't be found. Using the loging options of loadiine/cafiine might help finding what file failed to load.
Noob question but can someone elaborate on how to go about this?
