Awesome job @dimok .. Thanks alot

Even though I love your CFW.. @FIX94 's CBHC (system menu with signature patches) still way faster

Those timers are way too huge haha....

Anyway. The most time is lost by launching Mii Maker in which the Mocha ELF is started. If you don't use CBHC but just the Homebrew Launcher, it returns back to HBL in like 2 seconds.

So once @FIX94 integrates the code part that is used for launching only into CBHC it will be very fast.

Dunno if you did read my comment, but it probably got lost on the pages :P
Anyway, my question is: How doable is to make Home Menu's assets redirection? I think it could lead to easy-install Home Menu Custom Themes :P just an idea I did have yesterday.
I am not sure about that. I haven't looked at it but isn't that a part of the men.rpx application and you have to just replace the content on there? (I would test it on redNAND though)

Sorry for missing out. How can I read offset on SD? Got it.

View attachment 72118

That's not actually the area being referring to! They were giving you the offset in decimal, but what you have highlighted there is the area from 0x512 to 0x540, which in decimal is 1298-1344. You need to convert 512-540 to hex first, which is 0x200 to 0x21C.

Under system menu's title there are 2 *.pack on content, not sure if someone archived to unpack those, but as the bgm and sfx looks like is pretty easy to modify them.

Hey, this is awesome!

I was playing around with the new release, and noticed that I can't toggle these options in settings (they're all set to off):
  • redNAND
  • SEEPROM redirection
  • OTP redirection
I tried manually changing the config.txt to select redNAND, but I couldn't seem to get it going.

Did you activate "disable os full relaunch"? You cannot use redNAND with that.

So I finally got this set up all the way with coldboot. It is saving my password and logging into my own account, even though save password is turned off. Any way to make it go back to booting to the user menu? I like having the password on my account. If someone wants to use it without me, they can use one of the two non-passworded accounts.

Also, it's safe to move the Haxchi app around on the home screen right? By don't move, they mean don't move to USB right? I can put it in a folder or something?

I liked the old iosuhax better, also I always get a freeze when I go to HBL and then system settings, when I try to exit it. If there's a fix for this that would be awesome.

Do you have the latest version of mocha?

I'm not "Powerful", but I just experimented and can confirm that with commit fe9c3f84 with "Don't relaunch OS" and "Launch System Menu" enabled (with everything else off), attempting to use Haxchi to enter the HBL while Mocha is loaded freezes the console. This is on a 32GB European console with firmware 5.5.1 E.

It works with "Don't relaunch OS" disabled. I haven't tested other combinations of settings, but this seems to be reproduceable.

yes I use haxchi coldboot, and autoboot to mocha, but if I go to HBL, then system settings when I try to return to the home screen it freezes. v.2

This happened to me go into advanced settings of mocha and enable haxchi setting I believe it is but it's the last option

Now hope this eventually turn into something that can be completely installed once for all, which works like a real CFW such as luma3D or the old wii CFW without having coldboot or access HBL or anything. Once we turn on the Wii U console, we are in CFW (PS3 for instance).
