no no no it doesn't, there are no "arm9 services"
and i know that, and it won't give downgrade unless you find an arm9 exploit that can be achieved without k11 svc-mode code exec

Weird, it is clearly written on 3dbrew that it gives access to ALL services.

check what accessing all services allows. it definitely doesn't allow downgrading and doesn't allow more than kernel11 svc-mode code exec.

He's kinda right, but that's not the whole story.

Waithax doesn't by itself allow downgrading, but it does allow you to run all SVCs. That's enough for 3ds dsiwarehax installer to run. And with that running, you can inject a hacked save into a dsiware game. And hacked dsiware games can definitely downgrade firm.

waithax allows everything you want as k11, including getting all the services or firmlaunching and stuff. veryslowpidhax doesn't allow much and is totally not worth it for what it is.
