No nightly will ever brick your console. I don't think they even can.
Nightlies are just automated builds from the latest source of Luma. Luma COULD brick if someone added code to do so but.... That won't happen. I guess.

Sorry if this has already been covered.

Since updating with lumaupdater and even trying manually, GBA games and DSi ware just boot to black screen.

I have ensured agb firm is checked and twl installed etc.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Do you have an emuNAND? If you do, you have to install both GBA and DSi games to both sysNAND AND emuNAND.

Worked for me as well. First time was with a very outdated app called lumaupdater (The original release) but I switched to Luma Updater 1.4.2 and I reinstalled the normal version even though it was properly detected just to be safe. No black screen.

Seems like there is something wrong with it. First time booting into the latest hourly build gives a arm11 error. Just go back to your old payload. It seems like it resets or something (for me at least) when I rename it back to "arm9loaderhax" so I have to re-config it. After that, it works, just don't update for now.

I used starupdater to update, which led to a black screen. I manually updated with the 6.1.1 github files, but the black screen is still there. what should I do?

I'm using a9lh, with emuNAND cloned to sysNAND, as per the older plailect guide.

The games worked fine before updating to the latest luma. This has to be update related so will try to revert to a previous version tomorrow morning and respond with results.

I updated Luma with Star Updater but it doesn't boot. Since I have ShadowNand, I boot it up with Salt and went to Luma Updater and used it to update it. Still a Black Screen. If I install de Dev Version, it show this:

I already tried to delete the Config.bin but it shows up the "Select" screen of Luma and after that, it doesn't boot.

That Dell data breach is worse than people probably realize....
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
