@JK_
I'm a little bit lost now on where to look at what files to use.:D

In the "[Release]JK's SaveManager - Homebrew CIA Save manager." thread I don't see a .zip file.
I only see a "You can download it here." which links to the CIA file on Google Drive.

However, in your other thread "Save Manager based on IronHax", I see a .zip file with SaveManager.3dsx and SaveManager.xml in a folder.

Is there a difference between JKSM and SaveManager or is it just the names?
Can I export and import using SaveManager? I don't see it mentioned in that thread.
The SaveManager one is an old first attempt that is missing a lot. I'd only use it if you're curious to see how far it has come since then. I need to update the OP really bad once I get home. Please use this instead until then. https://github.com/J-D-K/JKSM/releases

You need JKSM.3dsx and JKSM.xml in the same folder together. If MHG doesn't allow it to boot, you can target any title that does work and hold L + R at boot to get into the same menu that CIA version uses to access MHG’s extdata until someone makes an XML file for it.
@JK_ You are my hero, this shortcut solved my problems with moving my saves to my n3DS XL that I updated before I learned of a9lh.

When I change my playtime it shows the modified one when I select the save however as soon as I save ingame it resets the time again. It also shows the old time on the guildcard. Any way to fix that?

I think I have to edit the Guild Card data as well. I'll see what I can do later today. Not going to be home for a while so sorry about that.

So does someone have a simple explanation for how all this stuff works for someone who's never used it before?
I've never done any of the hacking or homebrew or whatever. Just using simple things like Action Replay stuff.

Oh wow just noticed that there's 2 places that the color and name saves to. I'll be home in about 6 more hours. Sorry about that.

I think all the items are in the item list? If not I'll take a loot at it tonight.

Nope. Like for example Silverwinter Hunter 1 is a ticket or something. Theres no silverwind blackfur.

All the Rare X armor materials are materials carved from the deviant versions of monsters such nargacuga. Nargas deviant is white gale narga

Nevermind. I think the editor does. The editor lists the items using the translated jp names from thr jp kiranico database.

Would be great if u could take the time to rename the materials based on the in game english names

I got the Google Pixel Pro buds, they're good enough for when I need portable audio. And some really cheap IEMs that Dankpods recommends, I think the KZ ZSN Pro

I'd stick with cheapo Chinese $10 ones quality is actually becoming on pair with name brand since name Brand usually quads the price up anyway loose one bud that's another $200
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
My Pixel Pro buds shit the bed a month or two ago. My wireless charger (which they do support Qi charging) absolutely COOKED them. Caused some problem that caused the case to heat up to 180F+
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
They were like 9 months out of warranty but I hit up Google support anyway and told them how hot they were getting and they replaced them with new ones because they wanted these for failure analysis lol

    lol wireless charging
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why I can't bring myself to even spend $100 on wireless earbuds
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it's a cool idea but damn
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Apparently the case has a problem with >15W wireless chargers. Google design fault, that one.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I could live with wireless charging if the damn standard case doesn't block connection
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    how is wireless charging possible?

    Copper conducting electricity or something
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@Xdqwerty, power through a coil of wire causes an electromagnetic field to be generated. Another coil of wire can be set up to harness the power from that electromagnetic field and turn it into usable energy for charging a device

Two good videos from ElectroBOOM that touch on the subject:

@Sicklyboy, i think wire chargers are more practical
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
but im too stupid to know
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Wired is better for faster charge but if you just leave it all night while you sleep it's good
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Most wireless pads can only max 15w while average bricks are 65w
