If you want to use Menuhax, read this section: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-1-(Homebrew) then extract 3ds/Luma3DS/Luma3DS.3dsx from the Luma3DS v5.5 release archive to boot.3dsx
I just did this section and set up menuhax I guess.
Do you mean copy it to the PLACE where boot.3dsx is? I need to copy this luma3ds.3dsx and nothing else? It just states on luma3ds github I need a bunch of other stuff to copy from the archive.

Method 1 - Always launching through homebrew launcher:
1) extract the 3ds folder from the zip and put it on the root (root = first folder you see = same location as boot.3dsx)
2) extract luma folder from the zip and put on it on the root
3) extract Luma3DS.dat from the zip and put it on the root

Method 2 - Booting straight into Luma3DS:
1) From the menuhax folder in the zip extract the boot.3dsx and replace your old one on the root of your 3ds with the extracted one
2) extract luma folder from the zip and put on it on the root
3) extract Luma3DS.dat from the zip and put it on the root

Note: Since you were linked part 1 please do keep in mind that you have to have completed at least until part 3 of the guide for Luma to do anything at all.

you also need the luma folder on your root.
What I did:
Luma3DS.dsx is in "3ds\Luma3DS"
luma folder on the root
Luma3DS.dat on the root

Then I launched luma3ds, and did some configs, then it exited into my emunand?
Problems:
I guess I did the 'hold L to autoboot emunand when switch 3ds on' but it doesnt seem to work?
Now when I launch luma3ds it autoboots to emunand.
My GW menu on emunand when I click 'select' doesnt appear.

I have GW flashcard with working emunand, its not enough? Why do I even bother then.

Because Luma3DS and GW Mode are 2 different CFWs that rely on the same Emunand partition (the same emunand partition is always used regardless of CFW in normal circumstances). You can't use GW menu in Luma 3DS because GW =/= Luma3DS

Okay I guess I reaaaaally didn't have to go through all this trouble after all. Great.
No autoboot or other region DLC for me then! Good.

Hi, I'm having a problem with this CFW. I am unable to boot GBA games. I am able to boot Smash, DS, and DSiWare games. I have them installed on my sysNAND.

Ugh, still not working. Anybody else have a solution?

I don't have a patched AGB_FIRM installed.
I'm not sure what to suggest then. DSiware and Smash are working, and your AGB_FIRM isn't patched, in theory it ought to be working. What happens exactly when you try to run your GBA games? you've tried more than one game I take it?
