This might be possible with N3DS if it can tell the game to use the extra ram, other than that I don't know if it's possible.id really like if we could use the additional cpu power in older games that still stutter like pokemon x in 3d, not sure if this is possible or there are hardware restrictions
and what I really need is fastforward in emulators or even in 3ds games aint nobody got time to watch intros
NOCan we play ds rom without ds flashcard?
It modifies firmware in RAM before it's executed. It gives you free games and emunand. It's a CFW.NO

An actual CFW.
Would be hardcore to make 0_0I think a port of an older AndroidOS like Froyo or Gingerbread once the kernel gets cracked again would be pretty neat. :3
What i mean by "actual CFW" i mean a CFW that starts when the console boots up/writen in sysNAND.I think a port of an older AndroidOS like Froyo or Gingerbread once the kernel gets cracked again would be pretty neat. :3
I don't mean to replace the OS in the 3DS, just something to boot into from either the launcher or the SysNAND.Would be hardcore to make 0_0

That's what i meant too.I don't mean to replace the OS in the 3DS, just something to boot into from either the launcher or the SysNAND.
Perm CFW is what you're talking about. What we have now is a light CFW and that's all we'll ever get because the firmware is signed with secret keys that only Nintendo knows.Would be hardcore to make 0_0

Would be cool if it was possible to link the cfw's booting into a theme so that it boots the same time as the homemenu theme boots up..Perm CFW is what you're talking about. What may be possible, but still unlikely, is that some modified save data in home menu can trigger an exploit during the boot process. This would essentially (for the end user) seem like a perm CFW. Don't get your hopes up though.
