I've been to/passed a bunch of McDs, BestBuy, Starbucks in NYC recently, have not gotten one Streetpass from them. Aren't they all supposed to be on the Streetpass system?

Nope, not yet, (at least on the MACS we use), not sure about original MACS. We'll have to wait for Nintendo to give us the heads up!

There might be a webpage that pops up requiring you to accept their terms of usage before the internet will work. Next time you are there check your browser to see if it pops up. If it does you should be good to get streetpasses from those places for an hour or so. I'm unsure on how long it will last before needing to accept again.

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but...

After I have 10 streetpass data in the Mii StreetPass Plaza limit, and before receiving them, I kept the MACs cycling. And, at this way, I received streetpass data for other games more easily... like before this "update".

Someone wants to test to confirm (or not) this theory?

If I get rid of a game that has Streetpass abilities, I do tend to delete it from the 3DS system settings as well.

You know what the number one "game" I got hits from? The bloody music app in the system, especially from people in Japan. Dafuq?

Is the Streetpass working normally?
I was getting 10+ hits every day, for one or two months, but for some reason I've been getting only 0,1,2,3 for the last two weeks (my habits haven't changed).
One possible explanation is that I'm only streetpassing 3ds directly, and the Streetpass Relay isn't working. (I think I use to log on and off a hotspot many times a day just by walking).
It could be the cold weather, making the signal weaker...
Any lights?

I've noted that Homepass either seems to be slowing down, or something is funky with my settings. I'm not getting 6 hits when it works, for one. Secondly even with all my units I'm still not getting that many Streetpasses when I do a cycle of 10 (just looking at the Plaza notification, not games).

The bloody music app seems to still be the most popular. Haven't hit a single pass for Pokemon, and that unit has hit people playing it (Mii Plaza again).

I'm getting a new router over the weekend since the Belkin one I have is an utter piece of shit, so maybe once I get that set up I'll have better luck.

Given the way these homepass threads have died down here, maybe its lack of participation that's slowing homepass down.
