Hacking GodMode9 Not Working

So I've been using a modded 3DS for about 6 months now, but I've always had this problem where whenever I boot up GodMode9 all of the buttons just restart the software. I used to have a fix for it that I've since forgotten (it's been a few months since I last used my 3DS), but now whenever I turn on my 3DS it automatically boots into GodMode9 and I can't get out of it because every single button just restarts the app. If I force boot my 3DS into safe mode it just boots up normally but I'd rather not have to do that every single time I want to use my 3DS. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Cheers, but I think it actually might be hardware issue. I have a broken start button that gets jammed sometimes and obviously to boot up GodMode9 you need to hold start when powering on the system. Was planning to get it repaired soon anyways so not a big deal. Thanks anyways!
