Hacking 3DS ONLY boots to Godmode9 screen

Hello everyone,

Please be patient with me I am a noob, but I an not noob to firmware flashing.

My son did something to his 3DS and I don't know what he did. I am trying to fix it.

I don't think it's bricked .

Now the 3DS will only boot to the godmode9 screen and nothing else
even if the game cart is removed and the sd card is not inserted.

I can do anything in the menus, but it does not boot anywhere but this screen.

I can't post some screenshots because i am a new member and the forum will not allow it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

He may have allowed it to download, I don't know. If I need to post any info please advise me on how I would obtain this from the godmode9 screen.

Try replacing the boot.firm and see what happens? Black screen?

where do i get this file?
What directory should i put this file in?

download 10.1.3 and put the boot.firm on the root of SD and see what happen.
