Hacking Loader V4.2 now available

U-disk Manager Version V4.1F(+ loader V4.2)

1) Media-Extend was added. Support mp3 music, dsm or dpg video format. (based on moonshell)
2) The menu of GBA/NDS was modified.

Note:
To run "Media-Extend", please put "MediaPlayExtend" directory into the root directory of G6. Select and click the "Media-Play" at the pull-down menu to run.

Cool. Does this improve the look of the top menu screen in NDS mode? The last loader looked a bit too old-skool DOS-like.

Oh I agree normally, but this was old-skool text mode DOS, not very cool.

Looks like we're back to the slightly fuglier "Bigass TouchPod Graphic" top screen.

Media-Extend seems to have a temperature readout in the bottom right hand corner, for what purpose is beyond me.

Probably a very stupid question, but where can I download that new Firmware?

Im getting my G6 Lite probably tomorrow and want of course the newest firmware for the first installation.

To successfully upgrade make sure you put both the 4.2 loader AND the MediaPlay extender on the g6 before upgrading. I tried just the 4.2 upgrade and got nothing until I included the MediaPlayer as well.

they fixed the top screen, it says touchpod again, and the menu is a bit different but better, and the mediaextender is great! its touchscreen too! i love this update!!!!

Huge Cock, What loader are you talking about and where can I DL "old" loaders.. (that didnt look fugly), thanks.

Edit: Any pics on the different GUI the loader has? (I'm getting my G6L any day now..)

I can't get any .dpg video to work with the ExtendMediaPlayer. Anyone else?

All you have to do is copying that MediaPlayer directory to the G6, right?

I've got it working just updatre the loader with the media extend folder inside the root directory. Anyway the media extend is so much better than the old media player! .gbm .dsm .mp3 .dgp .txt all in one program and it uses the touch screen to select files unlike the old moonshell. appreciate the effort to icludes .dsm support. Emailed danny and he replied within 3days and includes the file.

So anyone else having problems with MediaPlayerExtend. It doesn't run any dpg-movie and crashes randomly.

Went back to 4.1b as well. I actually liked the *functional* top screen. It may not look pretty but at least it does something. On my chinese g6 the GBA menu switched to all chinese text with 4.2. Not interested in "media" functions either.

I can't get the extended media player working

and I'm not even sure if I updated my loader to 4.2, when I go to "about" it say 4.1a
but I download 4.2 a fews time already and I replaced the files on the root of the g6 lite

but it still say 4.1a when I go to about
