I don't think the HWID 44's will even update after a certain point, so I would assume this would be the same.

The beta firmware is confirmed working on my 3DS XL with the latest firmware. Thanks. My Acekard is AK2i 8181.

I can't get it to update, when I try to update. it says press start to update, press other buttons to cancel then it also says the update has been cancelled before i even do anything (soon as i enter update menu) i have hw88...what can be the issue?

edit:

i found my DSL so updated using that with DSL file, it updated fine... the 3DS file didn't work for me

put the update file inside a folder and not on the root of the memory card.

I've got the file in the root and it works for me with 256mb crap msd.

I seem to be having the same issue as djricekcn did, I've tried putting the update in a folder but no luck, Anyone have some advice? I wanna use my acekard on my 3DS but my niece updated it when she was over and I can't get the AK update to work

Check the firmware version of your 3DS. If it is on 4.4.0-10 then you're out of luck.

There is no update for 4.4.x yet, so there's no way it can possibly be updated for now.

And the update may never come.

Isn't there any way to make our own updates like these? If the team can spit out an update for the card there must be some way for the community to make their own 3DS patches? Or am I wrong?
