Where do I put a forwarder for this so that I can launch from my wii main menu? I dl'd the forwarder from "wiiflowwiki.com"
So far I have tried SD:/WAD, SD:/apps/wiiflow, SD:/wiiflow. MMM automatically reads from SD:/WAD. I thought that would be the place, but all three places return the result "failed" in MMM.
Hey, You need to reload the IOS to 236 or 249 to install this wad.

Thank for all the positive feedback, we keep working on it and making good process ;)

NB: Remote sync delay still there with r70 as well.
I'm using the cfg-loader sync code currently, can you see if you have this problem with cfg-loader too?
I have no problem with CFG-Loader (v70 IOS249) run via USB Channel it syncs while loading and as far as you return to channel after quiting a game.
wiiflow checks (ie remote blinks) twice before syncing both after loading and after returning to channel...
Hope this helps ;)
No Sync issues here on this or previous versions since Miigotu fixed something in the old A4 dropbox version. Remote syncs before Wiiflow starts.
EDIT: should mention I've modded 4 Wii's this way and all sync quickly, one of them NTSC 4.3 and the others PAL 4.2.
Using cIOS V7, HDD setup as per Miigotu recommendations - ie. FAT32 for NAND and NTFS for Wiiflow and the rest.
Ok guys. So the best way to fix an isuue is to denie that it exists!
P.S. This doesn't mean that I'm not waiting for 7 secs every time I launch wiiflow.
o whom it may concern, this issue was abscent only in wiiflow 2 made for ios223 if someone is intrested in checking the working code.

lol - I was not denying it exists! If you read my comment, you would deduct that I had the problem prior to a previous version as well.
I was merely stating some facts about 4 setups I have done, facilitating more data for you power of deduction.

On another point, I had some issues when I updated to 418, from r26 (clean install). Blackscreens after starting GC games.
I found I had to delete the folder 'saves' that had been created on the SD card. Things seemed to kick off ok after that.

Here is what I did to fix the sync issue I was having after downloading r418 from the dropbox, I hope this helps. For me, this issue seems to be related to nand emulation. I don't use the emulated nand feature, so this wasn't a big deal for me, I just use the save game emulation. I just left the save game emulation set to the /nand/ path and in the wiiflow.ini set [NAND] disable=yes. After that, save game emulation still works, but no more sync issue. It is probably also worth noting that I have Return to Channel set to Wiiflow. Not sure if that would make a difference. Hope this helps at least pinpoint the issue. Thank you all again for your hard work on this project, I love this loader!

Hey, thanks for the tip! May wiiflow already checks that option on boot and tries to enable nand emulation, that would explain the sync issue. If that's the problem I'll move the check and send you guys some test version :)

Great Fix, I'll be waiting for that one.
N.B. Sync issue was present in wiiflow 2 ios249 and 250 (eventhough there was no nand emulation at that time)!
Thanks again :)

you need to set path to /nands/nand1/ and partition to 1 in the NAND ini setting. Then in wiiflow press b on the channel switch icon and make sure in settings emu is set to partial.

Ok, Thanks now it is working!

1 What is the differance between full and partial?

partial means it will just emulate the save folders so they can be on usb
full means it also emulates the settings and nand reads, so if you emu nand is in english the game will be in english

2 With partial emulation not all games seems to be working (MW2 , super mario galaxy) Is this normal?? I didn't try the full emualtion yet!

update to v8 beta r41

3 Is there already a new V8beta wad pack available?

new wad-pack is available on wiiflow wiki now!

Hey Fix,
Thanks for packing the d2xr41beta wads.

the last rev(84) has 2 major bugs:
1. Though the remote syncing is faster now, I'm losing sync after launching games!!! (tried with Metal slug & mercury meltdown)
2. Still this revision is not detecting new games in wbfs folder (I still need to delete SD:\wiiflow\cache\lists\usb2_wbfs.db file to fix this)
I'm back to rev418 (official) disabled Nand emulation but still having sync delay too.
Good luck in your next trial (in paper mario you have 100 trials) ;)

Oh really? Very interesting, that shouldn't happen at all. For me it works fine here as always lol, I got no idea why its somehow different for you. Can somebody else confirm this problem?

maybe he is using emu nand and when launching game from emu nand with different wimmote sync config. when full emu nand option is activated is wiiflow using the sync config from emu nand or real nand?
maybe he have to check \shared2\sys\SYSCONF on real nand and on emu nand
