Gaming [Help]Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow

Hey guys
I need your help. I have a original cartridge of Casltevania Dawn of Sorrow.
When I get to Subterranean Hell, at some part, my screen turns black and the games freezes, then I can do nothing but to turn off the console.
How can I fix it? Is there even a possibility?
Don't know if this happens because I did the succubus glitch once but I have already deleted all data and all saves, resetting everything.

Really need help to fix that D=

sounds like its a prob with your cartridge. and not sure their is a way to re-write them,, i could be wrong though

When in doubt, Action Replay.

Examine the contacts on your cartridge for dirt or damage. It's possible that may be the cause of the freeze. Try cleaning out both the cartridge and the inside of your DS.

What exactly does a Action Replay do?
And the game freezes in a very specific room, otherwise it's all okay, so do the other cartridges. Can it really be just dirt?

in theory, an action replay could be able to stop the freeze, but theres no way to know what kind of value would have to be changed for this to work, so its really no solution.
some action replays have a save backup function, so you could skip the room.. but thats not exactly practical either
it could be dirt, but its really unlikely. use a q-tip to clean the contacts. if it doesnt work then... well, thats probably it for you.there is a chance any of the glitches might have screwed everything up

I tested it in three different DS and none of them worked. Tried to clean the contacts with a q-tip but didn't work. So that means that evil glitch has ruined my game D=? Corrupted (or something like that) the rom? No fix at all? x.x

I'm sorry that you've had this issue, tosco, as my own cartridge has never had such issues. This is "shot in the dark" speculation, but maybe you got the one-in-a-million assembly line bastard child?

hahahaha that's the only explanation, MEGAMANTROTSKY! Btw, the game only started to freezes after I did the succubus glitch. Before it, I even finished the game. Seems like my game is dead =/

The succubus glitch? Hmm... Maybe that triggers some unwanted effects. Maybe some research into how that glitch effects the game is in order.

The Succubus Glitch is tricky. On the off chance, it can screw over your save file. Sounds like that happened with you. Lesson learned. Complete the map completely the way I did.

yeah,i had some problem too.
when i do succubus glitch and saved, i never get a chance to defeat last boss.All of sudden, that last boss happen to be defeated and im stuck at dracula castle view room.
