Soo confused.

I found a couple of people on a GBATemp thread that said EXiM are much clearer than Hori. I found some people saying Hori were the best. I found some people saying Hori are bad. One person said Brando were the best of the elite pda companies that made NDSL screen protectors too. Another person said other people said Brando were equally good to EXiM. A lot of people said Capdase are better than Hori. No one compared Capdase to Brando or EXiM. No one mentioned which type of Capdase they were talking about. There are three, one for clarity one for fingerprint resistance one for glare. ?_?

I found an online store that will sell me one Capdase (the IxKata model - fingerprint and grease resistant), for $8 (including shipping). They only have one left in stock. I wanted two or three so I'd have backups.

I found EXiM for $7 free shipping.

I found Hori for $2.45 free shipping- speaking of that- is this authentic or a knock-off? http://www.gadgetgear.net/hori-nds-lite-sc...-protector.html

I found Brando for $15 shipping inc.

Hori VS EXiM VS Brando VS Capdase? Anyone? What about InvisibleShield?

I use Hori.

I used it on my first DS and loved it. In fact, I loved it so much I use it for my DS Lite and PSP.

Thing is, when it comes to brands, there is no clear "best brand" for a particular product. It all comes to personal preference. For me, Hori was the first I used and I'll probably continue to buy it for decades to come.

Whether that link sells the real deal or not, its tough to tell from a picture, which could have been ripped off from a legitimate source in the first place. But in my personal experience, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Regarding Hori- someone said that the contrast is twice as good with Capdase. I've also read Hori feels like rubber as opposed to plastic, and it is easily scratched. How is there no clear "best brand"? Shouldn't factors like image clarity, price, durability and tactile feel come over personal preference?

Yeah, I wasn't impressed by their company. They have DSi full body kits on sale for $5. I asked them to sell me a DS Lite kit for the same price. They wanted $30. They are kindof jerks. Shipping would have been another $15 or something. However, I posted a WTB on craigslist and got a reply from someone later that night. I picked up an unopened DS Lite full body kit from them the next day for $15. From what I've read since on forums, that's the price some people bought them from the official site (with free shipping) in the past but not these days. So I would say that's the real value for one, $15.

So I do have it, the body kit, so that if my DS slips off the bed or something it won't get scratched when it hits the floor. However, I have read that the screen protector won't fit the screen by about 1-2 mm too small at the top. I also don't have much faith in their ability or willingness to make the best screen protector in terms or clarity or feel. However I've heard nothing really negative about their screen protectors so I'm looking for some more feedback.

The problem is people have compared Capdase and Hori, but I haven't seen much discussion on InvisibleShield, Brando or EXiM, and I'd like to know how they all compare to one another.

That Hori for around two bucks is a 100% fake. Get one from Play-Asia.com they have authentic Horis. Trust me it's worth your money because they are quite indestructible comparing to the fakes which last for about few weeks. I bought two horis from play-asia like 1 year ago and the first one is still in a good condition and what's more i prefer scribbling my stylus on a hori to "naked" screen, they are amazing protectors.

I got some screen protectors from DealExtreme for my XL. They are amazing IMO, they get the job done. Aren't too easily scratched, and are quite smooth compared with other protectors I've tried. Also anything DS lite related may be a bit pricey compared to a current system because not many DS lite accessories are made anymore.

How do you know they are fakes?

I can't find Hori screen protectors for NDSL on play-asia.com, do the still sell them?
Because You just can't buy a legit Hori for that cheap.

Here you are.

Ah, too late I already ordered them, thanks for the link thou, I couldn't find them for some reason.
I will try to authenticate the ones I ordered once I get them. The website specifically states they are officially licensed, Hori, etc etc. I payed with paypal, so if they turn out to be knockoffs, i'll just report it and get my money back. I also ordered an EXiM. I thought since the Exim is $7, that might explain why the Hori as $2.50, since Exim at around $11 was once considered a good deal. I also doubt the EXiM would be knockoffs too - never heard of that. So, I'll be getting these in the mail in a week or two and then I'll verify them and post my findings. Maybe I'll post pics. I just got this console and have been methodically buying accessories, including 4 different officially licensed pens from RenChi, so I might end up reviewing all this shit.
