My router is in another room, so a LAN adapter won't do me any good. So i'll try what SoulSnatcher said first and see what happens.

To turn off the wireless you go to the Home Network section. On that page if you look at "Status at a Glance" you'll see Wireless with a button that says "Disable". Click that to disable the wireless.

Well, the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Adapter is one option but I would suggest against it. It has a number of problems. You could just purchase a regular wireless adapter, though.

So a regular wireless adapter would probably do the trick? (Assuming a wireless adapter works on a Wii.)

Yes I did. And that didn't work because I couldn't connect online even though it had full bars.

I think Imma try a regular wireless adapter, and hopfully that'll work.

Okay...So I finally got a Wii Lan Adapter, and took my old Linksys router in my room. Plug them both up and tried to connect....

Anyone wanna take a guess what happen? (Then again, I need to get a new router I think...)

Connection Hack? On the wii? I don't think so unless one of the cIos (or whatever) has something to do with it.

I highly doubt I did....But if I did, is there any way that I can fix that?

Quick question.. If I get a router to hook up (wired) to my wii, don't I need a modem as well? (For the router itself)

Anyone?

How about is there a way for me to turn off my firewall?
