To stop us all worrying, Nintendo are rolling out websites where you put your serial number in and they tell you if you're in the ambassador programme or not (to minimise e-mails). The UK one isn't up yet

Ahh.. I understand now.. So you guys were one of the early adopters who paid full price for a 3DS? In an attempt to make good for those loyal few, Nintendo has introduced what the company is calling the "Ambassador program." Is that right ?

I read cnet news about it.

i just checked in the eshop and there is no website for the ambassador check so either nintendo is slow for the website or the website is not up yet

You could always call in.
I'm not the biggest fan of their customer service, tbh. I asked about using prepaid credit cards and he gave me a million and a half steps and I just said, "You know what? I'll just wait for the cards, kthxbai."

But they do offer this service over the phone? I never did know that.
