Definately a new one that can run on 3DS mode. Greece ftw!

why new one

just needs to have a flashable bootloader

3DS games load in the same way

may be only able to load one 3DS game at a time tho

No, you need a new flashcart. Just how you would need a card specifically for DSi mode on DSi. The current flashcarts are not made to work in 3D mode and it can't be made so with an update.

Dsi flashcard Ievolution works becasue it has 2 bootloaders
DStwo has 3 but only 1 is used currently

It doesn't matter, no current card can run 3DS mode, even the two you named. Updating them to do so is impossible. They need to make a new flashcart to run 3ds roms.

So if you're thinking you will eventually be able to play 3ds roms with your current card, don't. Unelss you want to use it to play DS or DSi games, your current flashcart is worthles and will never ever run 3ds games, even with an update, it's not possible,

Beside, if it was possible, you would never be able to do so, ebcause the people making the flashcarts would never ever make an update, they would release a new card to make money. So either way, you need to get a new one.

Shouldn't take long for an actual flashcart for 3DS. If Legacy can run their games, it's just a matter of time before someone else actually figure it out. I bet the chineses are already on it.

Don't get your hopes up for anytime now.

And why do you keep posting 'GREECE FTW!'? We get it, you like your country, can you at least put it in your signature?
And don't think 'Ohhh racist! :B', I am Greek myself.

He's right it is not possible since the carts weren't built for the 3d. If possible why release it when they could make a brand new card and sell it for 40 bucks?

legacy only did a data check and most likely not on a flashcard

most like a homemade 3DS card and pasted the data onto a memory chip rarther than a ROM chip so that no modifications where needed
(or a spliced 3DS chip with a ROM replaced with a memory card)

How would you know they did a data check only? They didn't specify anything at all, only that it can be tested.

They also said it shouldn't be long for chineses to figure it out as well.

Just have a look at this picture.
You can get a white NDS Lite and "there is no cartridge" on the bottom screen.
You can find another black NDSi on the right hand.
Did they dump these 3DS roms with a NDS Lite?

Besides, there are 17 signals connected to the "ZE..." device.

Who can describe the connection among these devices?

Obviously not, the thing is plugged in the pc with some custom cable.

1. the DS lite isn't on
2. the DS lite doesn't seems to be connected to the dumper

so maybe they put it there to confuse people ^^

How did they make use this NDS Lite and a NDSi. Besides, the NDSi seems to be broken.
How did they run these 3DS roms?

The NDS Lite is on and there is "there is no cartidge" on the bottom screen.

Please have a close look.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
