iam in the 8th gym and iam stuck , i have beaten a few trainers but i saved the game, now i cant progress any further its seems iam stuck in gym 8 , any help would be great , iam nearly at the gym leader

iam not getting what you are saying.
Are you trying to say that you can't beat the gym leader or that the game itself is "stuck"?

Find your your way to the exit and heal, then go back to the gym and make your way to the gym leader
i had to exit a few gyms and heal up(and level) after a had trouble a gym leaders

i have beaten the last trainer in the gym , all thats left is the gym leader as i can see him , but i cant get to him as all there doesn't seem to be a way to the leader any way i go , i cant get beat as i cant get to anybody to beat me iam bamboozled

No problems at all for me you know, finished the gym within 20 minutes. Beaten the Leader with a lvl 38 Stoutland (38!!!!)
