Give kosheh time.

He said this would go on a temporary hiatus, while he, myself and most others are playing Pokemans. And if you don't breeze through the Pokemans game, and take time to enjoy it, it's going to take a very long time.

Good things come to those who wait.

I've already beaten pretty much the whole game, but I need the quotes translated in order to finish the last few challenges (last three on six, and the last one on seven), as I can't optimize the characters as it stands now without knowing what all the customization things do. If it's anything like the customization of Raging Blast 2, one or two boosters can make a world of difference when used correctly.

I can wait for Kosheh to get back to it, in fact, I'm anticipating it. Even with the new, really creative Pokemon games (minus the names and the designs), I just can't get myself into them as easily as I used to.

Anyways, just give Kosheh the time he needs. If worst comes to worst, use Gogeta and spam his top most special on the touchscreen. When it connects on any enemy, it does tons of damage.

His Ki never runs out and his first attack is a perfect offence and his second is a perfect defence which makes him untouchable even at the hardest level!

Why go on a hiatus? Can't he play Pokémon AND work on translating this game? I mean, I play DS while doing stuff on the computer all the time, so I'm assuming kosheh could do the same.

I don't mean to sound rude or anything, I'm just... saiyan.

Well its up to Kosheh to work on this or not.
He has no obligation to anyone here, so if he wants to make a break, he just can, if he wants to stop working on it, he can do that also.

Since he hasn't said anything yet after starting his pokemon break no one can say if this will continue or not and when it will.
While this is no pleasant situation, no one should have any good reason to be mad at him. It's free stuff after all.

oh

hey guys o/

Yeah I've been playing Pokemon Black for some time. Between Black and work, it's kinda hard to squeeze in translation time. When I worked on the patch I'd literally spend entire days just working on the translation sometimes; from when I got up to when I went to sleep. I have more hours at work though, so it's not as abusive on myself lol.
I'm glad I haven't worked on the translation tbh; not working on the translation actually gave me great anxiety as I thought I'd be racing against time to make my patch 100% before Elza did.

I'll admit, I haven't touched this translation this weeks. A friend of mine is making some l33t t00lz to help me out which'll make image editing much MUCH easier (which was most of the problem I had at this point) as not much else is really needed at this point except some...well, cleaning. Most of the SSJ character's techniques won't fit onscreen so I've gotta put time aside to change up all the pointers and make everything fit nicely.

I haven't forgotten about this patch though; this is a great game and by all means if you haven't tried it yet, do grab my patch if you're not feeling like struggling to read everything. It's complete enough to help you understand the modes of gameplay and most of the characters.

And I hope most of you know, and the lot of you will be very happy to hear this:
I took up this project not to be an asshole to Elza or anything; I have nothing against Elza and it was all to find out how to not suck at hacking. I'm doing this for practice (and maybe another project or so) so I can be more successful in my second attempt in making a translation project work out for Draglade 2.

This time when hacking Draglade 2 I hope to get a little more of a...team because I can't code for my life. >_>;

And yes my hopes are to translate the Story Mode for Draglade 2.

I've been having a lot of people asking me about it, and my answer every time has been "i gotta learn more stuff!!"

Nice, looking foreward to the Draglade 2 translation, it's sure to get some attention.

Hi Koseh,

I think I figure out why you were not able to modify the storymode button.

All 2D graphics are packed in one file, "archiveDBK.dsa". Most of them are compressed Lz (0x10).

You can't just modify graphics, you'll have to play with the archive's index too.
For each file, compress AND uncompress size have to be indicated.

Here is how archiveDBK.dsa works :

Code:
4 Bytes : "DSA "
4 Bytes : "1", Unknow (first archive ?)
4 Bytes : Index size
4 Bytes : Number of directories

After, come directories structure
For each directory :
ÂÂ4 Bytes : Id of the first file within the directory
ÂÂ4 Bytes : number of files in the directory
ÂÂ4 Bytes : Offset of directory name

Finally, come our files :

For each file :
ÂÂ4 Bytes : How many chars for filename (NB_CAR)
ÂÂif NB_CAR = 0 then
ÂÂ 4 bytes : offset of filename
ÂÂelse
ÂÂ 4 bytes : start of file name ("nt_" if 0x08)
ÂÂendif
ÂÂ4 bytes : uncompress file size
ÂÂ4 octets : compress file size
ÂÂ4 octets : offset of file (start with file name if NB_CAR>0)

End

I coded an unpacker for this archive.

Next I'll add rebuild function.

You know, I'm not any kind of fan of Dragonball cartoons, but this game is too awesome not to get an official English translation. Has there still been no word of an official localization?

Makes you wonder if Ban-Dai has their head up their ass or what. How can they not see this for the gem of a game that it is? How can they not see profit in localizing this game?

And I don't want to hear some BS about licensing and whatnot, because we all know that is just piddly crap.

I really hope kosheh can get the translation as close to 100% as possible, just to stick it to the idiot developers who don't think an English version of this game is worthwhile.

I'm pretty sure that this game is gonna be localized in the US. They came out with like 10 different DBZ games for the PS2, so I don't see why they wouldn't make this available in America, especially since they know they'll make a lot of money and it's such a fun game.

The only reason they probably wouldn't bring this to the states is because the 3DS is out and they probably think no one cares about the regular DSes (although I DO!)

They can still use this year and 2012 to release all the games they need before they start worrying about no-one wanting to use their DS. The 3DS is very expensive and not allot of people have the money to afford it yet. On top of everything I have to spend every week I have to wait until early next year to get my 3DS.
