Hello
I'm not really good at this but I promised a friend I would help with his wii. I followed the softmod guide step by step. My Friend's wii is black and it doesn't read DVDs so they bought a USB-HDD.
The problem is that their HDD works only like 25% of the time, because it simply isn't recognized by the USB loaders. I tried USB Loader GX, Configurable USB loader , Gecko, Neogamma r8, Wiiflow and basicly anything I could find.
USB loader GX and Configurable USB loader sometimes recognizes the HDD after a few tries of pulling out the cable and plugging it back in.
USB HDD:
-Adata classic CH94
-320Gb , fat32 with wbfs Folder,
-Also tried formatting it only wbfs
All the loaders work fine with my USB HDD and any pendrives on both my own wii and the black wii of my friends, but his USB-HDD doesn't work on either consoles.
The Black Wii :
If any other information is needed on the console or usb hdd please tell.
Any help on how I could improve the USB-HDD's compability would be GREATLY appreciated. I'd hate to tell my friend that he has to buy another USB-HDD since they aren't exactly swimming in money and it was the kids' present for Christmas...
