Hacking DSTWO Skins

That would be the plan. This is the first skin I've made for the DSTWO though so I need to figure out all the nooks and crannies. Does anyone know if there is a way to make the clock that is normally on the top screen smaller? I'd like to replace the step counter (on the top 3ds screen) with a working clock.

You can just make the numbers in clock_numbers.bmp or whatever it is called smaller.
You must leave a gap open because else multiple numbers will appear
You can make a red line to determine the gaps and then make the background green, for transparency.

Oh, and I haven't tested this, but maybe if you reduce the width of the image it will be closer together.

I think the clock_numbers.bmp can be any even numbered width
Ive used smaller than whats in your mockup without problems

Good luck on that skin - Oh and for those that don't know what the 'real' 3DS screen looks like - I found this on google images

As you can see 'Opium' nearly got it spot on

Just mashed up a plugin skin for myself to match with MasterWill's beautiful BlackOS skin, thought I would share it. It's made of stuff I kindly plagiarized from viz and masterwill.

The 7.Bliss skin (as well as potentially others by the same author) are causing a popup due to some HTTP response sent by the host, who appears to be using a static subdomain to redirect to a dynamic IP. I'd recommend removing all the skins using no-ip.org and not re-adding them unless the author hosts them on another server.

Offset for loading screen in EOS 1.11 is 0x0005BA88.

??? It never use to do that -

Still in process of removing those skins - but that's a LOT of editing to be done

I'm new on this topic and I can't access the first page, because there's always a popup who asks me to login to "doudouserveur" or something, is it normal ?

Sorry about that - See the posts above for more details...

Most of these skins are hosted on a seperate site, & it seems that recently the person who owns that site has done something that causes a password popup box to appear.
It's beyond my control on what he's done & I've been asked to remove all those skins links etc... which I beleive I have now done (You've posted while I was in the process of doing so)

If you look at the first post now you'll find that that those links have NOW been removed - Sorry about this but as said, it's out of my control to what other people have done to their sites.

I can only suggest you try the ds2skin Wiki, download the 'full pack' or pop along to the Supercard forums for links to the skins you may like to try (see first post for details) - although you may find the skin you want may not be @ any of those locations and was specifically only hosted on that other site

EDIT: OK it seems like the owner has 'MOVED' (yet again) - from the no-ip.org address to http://www.twoneskins.com/
looks like I'm going to have to RE-RE-EDIT the first post for the new address

No problems... Oh & try first post again,
I've now updated ALL the old (suspect) addresses to the 'new' addresses ('search-&-replace' is such a useful tool

) so they should now work as they did before he changed sites

Let's hope he doesn't change he's mind (again)

@ Coattails: Added your skin to first post (under 'multiskin pack' section). I actually like your 'Loading' than Masterwills's.
get a few more skins made up & perhaps they can be combined into a ds2skin pack as well ??

Nope. You can only make a bottom-screen loading image.

This one is heavily based on the new Pokemon White and Black "Text Entry" screen; You know, the screen where you put in your character's name, your Pokemon's nick names, etc. It's pretty hard to see everything with that layout tool that the editor has, so here's a built in screenshot of it:

I couldn't think of anything to replace the real time save icon, but when we do (as the skin is going to get updated to fit in the clock some time or another), I'll update the .rar file.

We've also included a DSTwo plug in screen, but I can't put up a screenshot of that. It follows the exact same style, though, but it features even more elements from the entry screen. All of the icons are indeed hand drawn (pixel art, really, though it's most evident with the odd GBA icon), but it was definitely a lot of fun.

Tell us what you think. There's an included readme file in the download. We do requests, too

Erm, I'd have to ask the original maker of the skin first :/ I'd be happy to do something else, though. Send him a PM and ask if we can edit the skin.
