For individual quests, go to the Quest tab and change the mission/quest status to unacquired.AiSeeWunFurTee said:

Wow, I actually forgot all about this. From my game Im working, to halo reach coming out, to me getting pokemon white, I've ran out of time(good news is arcade cabinet is done).

What tools are you using to do the modification? I'm not unsavvy at programming (C-family, C#, etc) and could maybe try to pick up where you left off if that's desired.

I have to next two days off, so if I get time I'll post what I have after I make a quick check on it, Im not sure if I still have the .dll code, but it'll be quick to reproduce the last one and I have notes on the string encoding to fix that again.
For the question of what I was doing, I was using .net Reflector with the reflexil addin. Reflexil allows reflector to directly edit the IL and also inject stuff into it. It easily allowed me to edit the strings longer than hex editing would of
Also was easy to change the positions, and doesn't require an intimate knowledge of IL to do so(though it certainly helps). Reflexil isn't prefect though, so I couldn't inject code as perfectly as I wanted to, hence the dll. Thankfully it allowed for injection of references and I just referenced and called my methods instead
One last tool I used(besides Visual studio for the debugging and dll) was Hawkeye which is a really neet proggie that allows you to edit a form that is running. It helped in figuring out positions of things that got messed up by longer strings
If anyone wants to continue this, they would be free to. You can directly edit the binary this way(keep back ups) and therefore my work is easily accessible. If you would need any help with it, like finding where things are, I wouldn't mind helping, just I don't believe I have time to finish it anymore.

Hi im just wondering, how can i add "~" symbol or any special symbols included in the game to the names of my hero/partymates. It seems the editor does not recognize it.

Cool, I haven't used any of those very much, but I have a little experience (and yeah, Hawkeye is awesome). Do you remember if you fixed things so that numbers (and any symbols DQ9 uses) would work in all the textboxes? That's probably the biggest thing I can think of besides just generally getting all the translations done.

@Xdqwerty, wire is definitely more practical IMO. Hell these days you can charge a laptop over USB, can't charge a laptop wirelessly though. Wireless chargers, even "fast" ones, are only good for slowly charging devices, plus they generate a good amount of heat too+1

Power banks can be incredible depending on your needs. 1) I have a 100w capable one that can charge my laptop. 2) Same one can also power my soldering iron (though is overkill for it) 3) a BIG power bank I have with an AC outlet on it can power my desktop weed vape during a power outage
