Yes (no brainer actually for me!)
Never actually touched any of my DS or GBAs (might've fiddled about with my PSP - or POSP as I lovingly call it - simply coz there's nowt to play on it....) and didn't intend to start with the 3DS.... hackable or not!

i likely wouldn't. pirating games is not just about saving money, it's also about the convenience of having everything you want in one simple cart, not to mention being able to try a game out for a few without having to pay in full

if you can pirate, though, I would likely buy some of the games I enjoy just so I don't feel too bad about it >_>

I think we should consider the prices of the 3DS games too. Normal DS games are 30 bucks. Granted. Now think about 3DS games. They have far more value and far more capacity. It would cost a lot to manufacture and make them. In reflection I think 3DS games will start at 40 now. On top of that major hits will probably go up for 50 to 60. I cannot afford this. Honestly guys the system is great fine if I could I would buy the system no matter what but pirating is more suitable for people. They do not do it on purpose. At least I did not.

Also... 700TH POST WOOT!

Yes. Hacking has never been an deciding factor when buying a system. Its always been the games available for it. And the 3DS is gonna have plenty to make me say yes

Would definitely still get. Nintendo handhelds are awesome even if they cannot be hacked so I only see that as a plus. I also don't mind legitimately handing over some cash to play some old school classics on the 3DS. The main reason I was even interested in a DS flash cart was for emulation purposes so this wouldn't bug me one bit.

Seriously, it doesn't matter if it can't be hacked. I'm gonna get it on launch!

I will buy on launch too, but I don't like the idea that it can't be hacked.

I can't belive all you idiots are complaining about not being able to pirate games. The developers take years to make a game and people like you rip them off by going to some scketchy site to download the game for free. Save up you f___ing money, Thats what I do. It's not that hard. Try being a developer (for any platform) and losing profit because of people like you.

But how often does a person delete the game and buy an actual copy when they've decided it's good enough to have? Very few I fear, because it would be considered an "inconvenience" to handle the game by other means than on a single flash card that can hold a lot of games, no to mention the thinner wallet to continue playing a game you had already with no limitations.

But, if Nintendo were to push companies to develop demos that were downloadable, then the excuse to "try before you buy via piracy" would be gone.

If there are rummors saying that it'll have constant firmware updates, maybe it means that they are thinking in a way to block flashcard this soon, so maybe they think that won't be an hard task to someone make an flashcard to run 3DS games.

Let the mass selling of 32GB MicroSDHC Cards begin...

Fo' sho'. It's made out of awesomeness. Pirating stuff on it wouldn't be as awesome anymore. I want to support Nintendo in every possible way for creating this, so obviously I'll pay for every single game.

It's a very strange thing, but I don't seem to enjoy pirated games as much anymore. If I buy a game legit, it's a completely different story. Perhaps it's because I have such a wide range of options with pirated games that I don't really give one particular game the attention it deserves, and just shift through multiple games at once.

It's very odd, but hey! I seriously can't wait for the 3DS launch. All I want to know is what the launch line-up will be!
