If those bastards can't really wait in playing the game, go download and play it until your nose bleeds(Japanese is not an easy and language and I'm really having a hard time with kanji).C'mon man it's not like the end of the world's coming so let's just patiently wait.Let's just be glad that someone's working on it.There can be so many mistakes when you rush things out.Chill....

i think i read more people asking other people to be patient and to chill out, than people asking for the game

Psycoblaster, don't listen to the mean men. Do this at your own pace.

For all the criticism they give you now they will give you just as much 'zomg I knew it! lololol best patch ever!!!!' when it's done.

Well. if you... wait. The game is already out. So of course you will see a lot more people asking others to be patient than people asking for the game? However, if you are talking about the patch, then it's a different story. If you look at the previous posts, some of those people were asking for an update or patch before changing side. Also, there were some people saying things like "the project is dead," which even though it's quite subtle, those people wants some sort of update.

I tried to tell people to just stop posting on this topic once a couple of weeks ago, but as you can see... it didn't work.

Um... not really. From what I see, some people are like sheeps meaning they are only following what the previous people are saying in hopes to fit in to the majority. But this is only my opinion.

One thing is for sure though, as long as there is a translation topic, there will be people posting useless comments, a cycle of people asking for an update/patch and people asking those people to be patient from time to time.

A simple update on how the project is coming along isn't that much of a request. Might take a whopping 10 seconds from the teams/persons time.

Yeah, true.. But at the end of the day it's the translators choice how much information they give to us. They're the ones doing all the hard work so it's 100% up to them whether they give regular updates or not. Personally I dont mind, as long as it gets finished.. eventually? lol

What's psyco supposed to write if there's nothing to update. If real life, real work (which earns one real moneys, you know) keeps psyco from working on the game and it will require just more time to finish the rest of the patch up.. well, then I wouldn't update everyone on every little line of code I've changed or something too.

I bet people complain just for the heck of it, at least 1/3 will play it for maximum 2 days than drop it off
(to complete something else they're playing atm or cause they don't like it). humans need something concrete "in their hands", unaccomplished ideas do not dwell well within ourselves. (the translation of the game isn't over yet so it's still count as "idea")

Uhh... isn't it like, common sense i'm talking about the patch?

. And what i meant is that, for every n00b saying the project is death or blah blah, there is always like 5 people saying "be patiend and blahblah" wich is kinda, useless, at least at this point, and it adds even more spam.
Just let people say what they want, psyco already said to give him some time, if people wanna say this project is dead, just let them say it.

Well I haven't followed this project so I don't know the whole situation. I was under the impression updates surrounding the project just suddenly stopped, but if the translator has already said (s)he needed some time for things in real life then I understand that there won't be any updates. Then again, when the translation is on a halt like this one currently is, isn't it better to just temporarily lock the thread? There's really no need to discuss on a translation if noone's currently working on it.

Complaining about people complaining is also not going to help. Just sayin' before someone starts complaining about the people complaining about the people complaining.

Lol... the best thing would be if everyone just left the thread alone but that's not going to happen xD And yes, I know I'm contributing to it as well.

Edit:Well my bad i posted it immediately
I agree to that opinion since this thread is being flooded with nonsense post(including mine but not all of the post of everyone). We just get people rampaging about, people who are telling them to stop(including me) and people who talk about members whose telling others to stop. Were kinda like food chain you know.
Well back to the topic,I hopefully by this or next month we can finally get an update or finally a patch

I say this pitiful project should be cancelled and everyone should work on "Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru" AKA For the Frog the Bell Tolls. That game's engine was the Basis for Links Awakening.

You go around doing this on many translation projects that takes time.
Hate to break it to you, but they all take time.
Go translate a game if you want it so badly or play it in Japanese.

If you want to request a translation, go to the request translation thread.

I apologize psyco, but you may have to lock the thread to keep people from bothering you :/
