I'll give this a try, though I need to make sure to back everything up. Currently I need YSMenu for GBA emulation, I think; I'll look around for other solutions. .. I fumble my way through these things.

i still think it is fake... the ap is not hardware-triggered, and ysmenu uses the core of dstt

if the solution is firmware-based (and it IS) so it should work ith ysmenu on r4/n5/m3/whatever too

You dont, the patch is just and update for ysmenu, which the n5 cant run as far as i know. So your choices are get a new card (not being one of the pricks criticizing you for having an old card, just stating a fact), or wait it out for an r4 patch. Odds are, in a few weeks, there will be an update to Rudolphs childs play patch thatll make it work. And until then, just watch this page, if theres a fix, itll most likely show up here the same date.

Really weird problems with this game

as you have probably seen in the firmware section, we have a update that works but only on DSTT and not YSmenu, its very strange, we are looking into this but cant understand why this difference should occur, it must be something in the ~~YSmenu that is causing this~~

hmmmm its working on YSmenu on DSTT firmware so the problem seems to be the difference between DSTT flashcard and R4

I can confirm that it only works under the TTMenu and not YSMenu. I can only play the game by booting TTMenu. I have both installed to my card. Loading the game under YSMenu - Save problems. Loading TTMenu from YSMenu and then playing the game - works perfectly. While YSMenu is based on TTMenu, there are minor differences in the program, after all if there wasn't, they would be identical. But these differences have been known to cause games problems. I remember when I first got my DSTT, there was some game that could only be played by loading from TTMenu, not that I can still name it after all this time. It was fixed later on. This will be fixed as well, but for now it will only work with TTMenu loader, not YSMenu.

So in other words, R4 users with YSmenu cannot play the game yet?

Apparently not, but if you use TTmenu with your R4, maybe it works.

No, I just checked, when I launch "TTmenu", at the bottom it says "based on TTmenu" so it must be ysmenu in fact

well I can confir that the game works 100% on ttds 4hours of game play saving and havin ramdom battles

I really dont get why all you old school r4 users and cash out 15 bucks for any supported flashcart, 15 bucks for playing all games without patches for free is a pretty good deal.

I attempted and got sent a fake instead.

So my only real choice is to wait for a patch.
