Hey guys, so I've finally got a hold of a DS Lite to perform the 1.4 update on the cart.
Everything went smoothly for the first cart's update and seemed to be smooth for the second.

Test with the first cart on my DSi, our good friend Danny Phantom comes to the party right away and everything is working wonderfully.

Test with the second cart however, did not work as well. It will not read the cart right away, maybe after a minute or two Danny will join for a moment or so before the DSi no longer reads the cart. If I do manage to start fast enough, it will boot up problem free.

I did both carts the same, but I am not getting the same results.

They were purchased on Leetmod, who seems like a reputable place.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks a lot

**EDIT** Now neither of the cards are functioning... what could I possibly be doing wrong???

I believe what you have is a contact problem between the card and the DSi, try adding a thin slide of card behind the slot to prop it into the contacts better?.

I figured that was the problem, what troubles me even more, is that no matter what I try to do, it will simply be a temporary fix.

I managed to boot up a game just to see how long I'd go without it loosening out of place and freezing the game.

Any hardware modification I can do at home to make the contact a little stronger?

actually my AK2i had a contact issue on my DSi when it was new after 3-4 days with a piece of thin cardboard behind the card it fixed the problem

(i no longer need the cardboard behind it for it to play normally)

reason i used cardboard and not paper the cardboard was alot easier to get in and out
