Customer has sent in a unit for repair which is very strange and not seen before in all my years doing switches.

Basically sent in saying its not reading SD card.
The system has Picofly installed.

When tested the sd reader seems to work for 5-10 mins then stops reading.

1.First of all I used my own SD cards to test and still the same.
2.Replaced SD reader and still the same/
3.Replaced the SD reader connector and still the same.
4. Removed the PIcofly install and still the same.

Seems like something is getting warm then crapping out.

Any ideas?

My next port of call I may look at is the emmc

Anyone else had this?

Hi, about a few months I having beem trouble with my SD card reader to, the Nintendo works fine without the SD Card in stock mode, but I dont be able to run Hekate or Atmosphere. in my researches I found a lot of peoples with same problem and no solutions..

in my case, if I let the Nintendo powered OFF for a couple days, its go back to life and SD card works fine, but if a reboot the system, the SD card stop to work.. its very weird, and I started think that the MAX77620A its the problem..

Its just it for now.. if I discovery something usefull I comeback..
