yes... it would required the whole mios to be modified... i hardly think someone would take all that job, just to load games from an usb...

I'm a little curious about something.
When modders such as Waninkoko or Hermes modify an IOS can they see high-level code or assembly?

Probably assembly. Seeing that they don't have any source, disassembling it is the only way they could modify what Big N gives us.

When they write new modules for it (USB stacks, DIP Modules, etc.), those may be high level, seeing that they are new code.

I still wonder what this MIOS has for us. Just more compatibility? Networking would be nice (emulate a GC BBA), but won't happen for the same reason as a USB GC loader

How many games actually used the GC BBA? Maybe 5 or 7? Compatibility will be nice, I would actually like a new loader. I'm tired of Wiigators (although its incredible as it is the only loader). 0.2 is annoying with the "change to region based on disc's region". It should stay at system default. I gotta use 0.1 if I want to load any of my multi iso discs, as the multi iso game creator only creates PAL discs, and my Wii is NTSC and my TV doesn't support PAL.

...You know, you can set the region for multigame discs before building them. It's in the upper-right corner of the creator IIRC.

I hope that problem is the IOS Reload bug that one of the latest libogc versions introduced. I think even the latest libogc sometimes just crashes on loading IOS249 because of changed IOS Reload code. To fix this, he would only have to use an old libogc, or put the old IOS Reload code back into libogc, as i did.

As far as I understood, you can't compare the situations, they're different. So, no.

For the last time...if this would be easy, then it would already exist. It's not easy, and will take much more time, probably even won't happen.
