Regardless of whether I'm downloading something or not, it's always on, so I really don't mind downloading 50GB. It'll eventually happen and 1MB or 50GB it's same number of clicks so what's the big deal?

I think you just have to sign up and actually use newsgroup and see it for yourself. Really, the monthly fee (if you choose to use one that charges you) is nothing compared to the speed boost you get over torrents.

newsgroups will max out your download speed, mine only happens to be at 700kb/sec, so downloading a 50gb file is really nothing, now burning a 50gb file using a 2 or 4x blu ray burner is a different story, but space really cant be a problem, if you dont have at least 500gb of hard drive space on your pc then you need to cancel your internet subscription cause youre obviously using the internet wrongly, believe it or not theres more to it then forums, youtube, and porn
