I am using the Xenophobia patch, it's still not working. Which files do I stick in my SD card after I patch it? I get a 0kb file after the patch is done and that doesn't work.

You didn't patch it right then. You need to rename the rom the the name of the patch file.

For us who can't get it to work on the DS, there's an emulator that the game works with (without any lag). I've been playing for over one hour without any problems. I read however that there are a couple of places in the game where you have to change some settings in the emulator, but that's a piece of cake because it tells you where you must do this. I won't give a link but I found it on piratebay.

I myself have a DS-X card (yeah "get a new one", yes, yes) and can't get it to work, and I've been going crazy these last few days, but not anymore. Great game btw.

You didn't patch it right then. You need to rename the rom the the name of the patch file.

Well for anyone actually playing the game, I've been playing since Friday and I am very close to the end of the game. I have been so happy with how long it is. I'm just a few hours short of 20. Anyway, I always get stuck for stupid reasons so it was nice to be able to find an entire walkrhrugh of the Japanese version on youtube. I am on the second to final boss (as far as I am aware) this video is the exact point I am at. Any tips for beating him if anyones this far? Also, if anyone needs to refer to those videos, they are very helpful.

FYI...

The CycloDS 1.56 Beta 1 update breaks Scribblenauts and GTA. It does seem to beat the protection on M&L: BIS but at the cost of not being able to play Scribblenauts or GTA.

Works with new m3 ds real frimware great game i'm going to buy this and scribblenauts despite going to cost me $120 well worth the money

also to all you people having a cry buy the game if nintendo put protection on it it's probably worth buying.

I hate to crush you guys' hopes, but I had a talk with elixirdream a few hours ago (he's the one who announced the patch here). He said the code they were making seriously broke some things and they decided to give up on it. And the people who are making the code do not like to release patches anyways since it makes the flashcard developers become lazy and just steal the code for themselves WITHOUT CREDIT.

So the current R4 fix I knew about (which also was supposed to work on all cards) is no more apparently. It's a good thing they tested it before releasing it. I hear it messed some stuff up.

Anyways, believe me or don't believe me, I don't care. I wasn't the one making the patch anyways. Neither was elixirdream. I never even had it.

I don't really know what to think about it, but I already bought an M3DS Real for an awesome deal just now ^>_>^

Hi guyz.

Just a little question, I heard the awesome news of the release of the pach that fixes the game to people using a M3Real (like myself). I'm just a few hours In, and the only glitch I've seen was the animation of Mushroom Kingdom's Castle Door opening/closing. The animation still had the boarders in the FMV or wathever they use to animate. It's really minor and I couldn't care less it there are things like that trough the game.
The question is, I've played a ton a games (almost all of them without this piracy bypasses thats a given) but none till now showed a emulation that skiped a beat (being graphical/pixel perfect) and this is probably the first one: should I wait that someone goes trough the game in this next few days and proves there isn't a game breaking flaw, or am I free to asume I can complete the game without problems?

i remember playing the J game and U game briefly
i realised there is a random line glitch on the upper screen
but it did well and no problem

Graphical glitches are nothing new to flashcarts. I've noticed alot of tiny glitches so far, and it wouldn't hurt to just play it. They're annoying, but the game should complete fine.

Ugh, frak. Guess it's time to look at geting a new Flashcard then :/

EDIT: Is there a list anywhere of all the cards that now work with M&L? Read the FAQ and looking at the EZ V

What about DSTT?
Oh well, screw it, I already ordered Acekard 2i (even though I don't have DSi, but 2$ difference on dealextreme, hell why not? If I upgrade to DSi eventually, it will come handy).
