I know I am asking this alot and for that I am sorry. If someone is working on it please let me know so I can stop working on a workaround. Well I would like to run disk and emulators from this loader with out ever going back to the wii menu. And this can be done just by putting a channel on the wii menu and runing it from the channel menu in the loader. However you need to unlock the loader to do so which leaves the loader open for kids to mess up. So I would like a way to get to the wii channel menu with out unlocking the usb loader. And maybe a way to remove unwanted channels from showing on the wii channel menu. I have tryed putting the forwarder dol's in iso I have made with not so good out comes. I have tryed editing the code myself but it is hard to understand sometimes and I end up braking things and not getting what I want. I don't realy care about the hbc on the loader as I can just exit the loader and go to the hbc to start apps from there. But some channels I use alot and would like to start from this loader. How hard would it be to add a button on this loader to start a dol file and can it be done to load all dol's files. I would like to add a disk button and emulator buttons. This was of course easy to do on the xbox but I understand that code alot better. Please don't bit my head off with post after post about me asking this again I am just having such a hard time getting this to work on my own. As always thanks go's to the team for such a great app.

Does any thing work for this revision of the loader.
yes, the games.

QUOTE(Valguerra @ Aug 24 2009, 02:18 PM) So I delete the config file, with what do I replace it with?
the loader will recreate it, you can them go back and browse to your desired theme path.

I can't speak with authority on this, but as far as I'm aware, the purpose of this project is to develop a loader, not to develop a system menu replacement. There are other projects dedicated to full-function wii menu replacement. It might be a better use of your time if your request was addressed to one of those groups.

GECKO 1.9.2.

I'M STILL WAITING.

>_>

With all the help you've given the community on this project, I'm sure the coders will read your snide comment and hop right on that for you.

I'M STILL WAITING for the day I visit this board and not see a pirate complaining about not being able to cheat in a stolen game. Either take a class and do it yourself or enjoy what you have right now and patiently wait for an update (FYI, the coders have stated in the past that they have no interest in incorporating GECKO 1.9.2, so you might be waiting a while).

To be fair, there's more to Ocarina than cheats. It's made Barlw become the most hacked console game ever and it's awesome.

It seems to me as if it already is a system menu replacement, it's just not finished yet. Theres backup loading, ocarina, channel loading, dol/elf loading, theres only a few things missing. I don't know about emulators, but aside from disc loading, its only missing a message board.

any idea why SSBB stopped working with the 222 Hermes cios ??

No clue. Works great for me installed as 37 merge 36. What are all of your settings set to?

i have error 002 fix on (for all games) + i have tried changing the first option from system to disc to forced pal & ntsc but nothing worked & all other options left at default settings.

Use 223, might work. Didn't work here, have to play it using USB Loader CFG.

i did try it but didn't work, its works if using cios 249 rev 14 but game will freeze at some point.

A few quick notes...

-If your global cIOS is 249 and you set an individual game's cIOS to 222/223, it will not always work. This is a bug in cIOS 249. On the other hand, if you set your global boot to 222 and set an individual boot to 249, it will work fine every time.

-If you change your global boot cIOS you need to completely exit out of the loader and restart it in order for the change to take effect. If you do not do this you will get a black screen. It is also necessary to delete your gamesettings.cfg file from your config folder on your SD/USB to prevent any settings conflicts since anything in gamesettings.cfg overrides the global.cfg file.

-Setting your global boot to 222 (installed as 37 merge 36) and setting your global 002fix to ANTI will result in 99% compatibility with no glitching/stuttering on IN REGION games. For OUT OF REGION games you need to also set the Video Mode to AUTOPATCH. The 1% non-compatibility is from the "please insert disc" games. However, those games are fully playable by simply inserting any dvd into your drive (I just stick a blank one in) OR by loading those specific games with cIOS 249 rev 12 or higher.

-Make sure you always delete the 00000001 folder from the root of your SD/USB before doing any network installation of cIOS 222/223. If you install cIOS 222 as just 36, you will still get the same glitches found in cIOS 249 rev 14. 37 merge 36 is necessary.

That folder is created during cIOS installation. It is the IOS information downloaded to use for the installation. Once your cIOS is installed I'd recommend you delete that folder as it interferes with new cIOS 222 installations. Plus, it's just wasted space.
