Can I just say....BOO YA! To the person who tried so hard to keep this a biiiiggg secret so the world couldn't possibly find out.

Sorry, piracy and hackers are always going to give back to society....information is never held forever...

Installed and working fine after reading many mannyyy directions out there. But, hey, whatever works!!!!

Do you mean the wads. You should get error -1017. That means it worked. If you don't get that error
you need to uninstall that wad then reinstall. You should get the error on the second attempt.

Regardless of who developed these tools, let's see how the new generation 3 dlc is handled today. If the OP pulls that off, then he certainly should receive proper credit.

hope it's not too diferent from the others, but I turned on my wii now and it's not marked as 'purchased'
want to play kings of leon so bad...

Generation 3, which saw its first releases today, is different because it now stores in the sZCE data folder. The two fakesigning title wads originally released only cover songs that store in sZAE and sZBE.

I'm sort of caught in the middle here - I support the original author and respect his wishes about the dissemination of the DLC tools, but at the same time I'm curious to see if the OP has the know-how to create the new ticket. If he can pull it off, then I will have to give him some credit. If he can't, then it will be known that he was a cheap copier who just ripped of someone else's work.

I noticed that I had to reinstall my Rock Band customs and re-download some songs after updating to 4.1 from the Wii Sports Resort disc.

i was camping. just got home now and i'll take a look at gen 3 when i get to it. Just like others i have thhings i like doing outside of this.

If you're talking RawkSD, you have to reinstall them any time you download any song in the music store because the music store overwrites the save file that lists what songs you have present. Not sure why you would have to re-download any songs after an update though.

As with any game or content that saves to the SD card, downloading songs in Rock Band 2 (legit or otherwise) requires you to run the game from IOS37. The only ways to do that are A) with a retail disc on an unmodified Disc Channel, or B) on the disc channel with some versions of CIOSCORP.

RB2 is a good game, it's worth your money and you'll never have to worry about loader compatibility when you've got the real deal.

I just downloaded the V4.0 of the Tools, and Installed both the wads, Get the error -1017, everything ok.
After, when I went to RB2 Online Store, All the songs say Purchased, but some songs costs 200 points to download, What I did wrong this time?

u did everything right, those are just the new songs that came put yesterday, same happened to me, we just gotta wait until sum1 makes another wad to install for those.

Uhm. I gotta problem. I installed the two wads with the included dlc installer, got the ret=-1070 error. Good so far. When I go to the music store it says all purchused. When I try to download one, it kicks me out and gives me error -20407. I have no idea why. Help?

Install RawkSD Patcher, It should work, (at least for me worked)

Very True, plus I just saw Rock Band 2 for sale at Target for 29.99. It's definitely worth the price and the lack of "headaches" when you have a legit copy...

Use cIOScorp and itll fix this issue.

Please do not speak of RSD as they do not want to be associated with piracy.

Advice ppl to install cIOScorp.

I found someone that has wii points to spare for the cause and is going to assist in packaging sZCE.wad! so be patient and rock on

You don't need to install all of cioscorp either. Just install cioscorp cios37bugfix.wad (I'm not positive that's the correct file name, but its close) and your system menu cioscorp. (ios30 for 3.x and ios60 for 4.x)
Works perfectly for my system.
