this is great =)

quick question though, i downloaded and installed the 3.2U "darkwii" theme and its awesome. install went perfectly

but i want to replace the healthscreen title, because that was left the same as the original.

is there a way to extract the .mym file, or the .csm file so i can just replace that ONE picture?

on WADder.net under MyScripts in the forum there are files like "Healthii MyScript". Use that one and select the new healthscreen when it asks you, and use your .csm you created before as the source. that lets you modify it yourself. you can then use the softmii theme converter to convert back into .mym

edit: does mymenufy make the healthscreen picture the size it needs to be or do i do that before hand?

I'm on 3.2E with the MiiWii package installed. Maybe that has got something to do with it ?

You have to read the guide I posted: you have to convert it with MYMenu.

I read it, and I did convert it using MyMenu.

Well, I finally figured it out ! Turns out MYMenu doesn't automatically give the .csm extension.
Added it, and it worked ! I am now on Matrix Theme !

MyMenu "freezes" at "Current Task: Parsing Script..." after I used the beginner pack. I zipped it (.zip) with WinRAR and change the extension from .zip to .mym.
Am I doing something wrong?

are you srue you zipped up the CONTENTS of the package and not the folder? So basically, the mym.ini and other files are in the ROOT of the zip?

Yes, I'm sure of this. I tried .mym files of your website and it works perfectly.
I thought WinRAR is likely the problem, I will try with other "zipping" apps and tell you what.

my health screen doesnt work,
just about everything else does though,
im on 4.0e, and also, when i changed the buttons, the sd card menu only half has it.

Drihscol : mine doesn't work too. Nothing is working on my .mym but downloaded ones are ok... (used MyMenuify in order to install them).
And I think there is a problem because when I "patch" my 00000075.app with my own .mym, the .csm file is about 21mo!
With a downloaded .mym, the .csm is just 6-8mo.

Here is my no working .mym (I just modified the healthscreen) :

Found the answer:-

i fixed some things in the 4.0 mym.ini

*added PAL english healthscreen
*Fixed double numbers
*Added some pictures for the bg of the Diskbann/diskthum
they are in background\tiles\diskbann bg.png and diskthum bg.png
*Fixed Settings pictures
*Fixed some other pics
*(for me) changing the pics in Mainmenu\channellayout\.. Leads to brick when entering the SD Card Menu so i added CurveMask2.png CurveShadow2.png and CurveOutline2.png and just use the shape of the SD Card Menu and it will work .. (these pics are in same folder)

Found the answer:-

Ok, I don't worry about the size but it takes space on the Wii's NAND and it still doesn't work...

well, yeah, the .csm is gonna be big, because, since you only changed the heathscreen, it keeps the other files, its just like adding on to it.
would anyone want to see a beta of my theme?

for those that diddnt want to see it, too bad.

If you use softmii tweaks, big files are brick. if you use mymenuify, they are fine.

You're supposed to have healthscreen too ?? Dammit. I only get a custom menu. I tried the Matrix one, and another one.

Strange...

BTW. The Eyes in The Night theme, Actually bricked me. I couldn't use the disc channel, wii settings and the messages anymore.
Luckily I have preloader / bootmii installed

my heath screen is blocked it boots directly on wii menu, i cant get the custom screens working, any idea?

when i use myMenu pc program when i select a csm file to add it not only deletes the file but the entire folder it was in! any idea why it's doing this?

this happens if your theme-health screen is not your standard health screen: I your on NTSC, and your spanish you will need a theme with a spanish health screen. you can correct this bij extracting the .mym ( make a zip and unzip), look into the .txt and change " it_has_a_(US/EU)_(ENG)" and "it_has_b_(US/EU)_(ENG)" to it_has_a_(your region)_(your language) etc.
