I'm hoping there are more assembly levels. After completing level ten, they have a series of five puzzles similar to the first Picross on Gameboy. After you finish all five, they piece together for one large scene.

So far it looks like there are four difficulty sets, and the fifth option on the main menu is to select a puzzle randomly.

I'm a bit behind on releases, but now that I've caught up with this one...

This game is spectacular. I never would have thought 3D picross would work, but this is perfect. This game had better get localized. I will buy this game in a heartbeat.

I usually never post here but for a game this fun I have to. First of all I own a CycloDS and it works no problem. I agree with what someone said earlier that if you want to get this but doesnt work on your M3 than it is well worth it to upgrade to the cyclo. You can probrably updrade to an edge card as it is basically the same thing. I recently bought some from deal extreme for 15 dollars each.

First of this game is amazing. If you loved the first picross youll find this one to be twice as good. The gameplay mechanic is amazing. It kind of follows the style of the first picross with the menus but improves on it in every way. Also you need to know ZERO japanese to play this game. The mandatory tutorial puzzles show you how to play this game in visual terms and show you the controls on screen with no language skills required. Anyone can pick up this game and play it. I can't say enough how engrossing this game is. Iv'e been playing this game no stop. As someone said its not really 100 percent like the 2d picross as the numbering schemes changed somewhat for being a 3d puzzle but the logic used to solve them are the same. For instance with picross you have for each row a series of numbers for each row desginating the spacing of solid blocks of numbers. For the 3D version for the rows and colums you instead now have the total number of blocks in the row and if they are continuous or they are separated into 2 or 3 or more sections. And not all rows or cloums are lableled so you have quite a challenge. Its really a blast because the controls are so good rotating the 3d shapes visuallizing it in the 3rd dimension. It unlike any other puzzle game out there. You actually feel kind of like an artist chiseling out a sculpture from piece of granite. It really is that good. Also the control scheme is simple and easy. This game uses only 2 buttons and is set up so if you are right or left handed the controls are easy and the same. One button is the hammer that chisels away unwanted blocks and the other is to mark blocks that are correct. That and on harder puzzles you get to sliders to slide into cross sections of the puzzle on the x and y axis. I also lament that you do not get a z axis slider. But by rotating the puzzle you actually will never need one as the x and y will always be enough.

In summary I would reccomend anyone get this game but is a must have for puzzlen game fans. Easily the best NDS game this year and one of the best ever IMO. Also I got this information from GameFAQ board on how to download puzzles from the web like the first picross. I post text below.

Hi.

I have a similar problem with the game. When I first out it on my M3 Real everything worked just fine.
Now I wanted to make some new space on my Micro SD Card and formatted it after copying everything onto my desktop.
So I transferred all files back to the NDS-Folder, got the latest firmware, and tried to start Rittai Picross. But now all I get is a white screen. What? ôo
I found out that the game works perfectly when I have no save game on my card, but what's the point? I don't want to restart the entire game. :\
Is there a way to play my old save game? I tried to overwrite the other, working one, but no such luck.

Love it, love it, love it!!! Yoooohoooo! But I wish I knew the US or EU release date. I don't want to do half of the puzzles, get the US/EU release and need to do them again to get where I was. Maybe I'll first finish Colour Cross, although it's not as good as Picross of Rittai Picross.

Later on things get a tad annoying. Sometimes when I go to get rid of a block, the block next to or behind gets hit and I lose a star.
