Not at all, dude. I'm not one to pick fights or try to incite folks to anger just to be a prick, but I also don't like to see people pretend to be ignorant about racist comments. I'm not accusing you in particular, but there are some posts within this thread that are asinine in their refusal to recognize the well-known fact that using the term "Jap" is blatantly racist. If they still choose to use the term, it's their right, I suppose. Equally, it's our right (those of us who find it offensive) to call them out on it. Those folks who don't know their history, might want to read up a bit. But "Ameris" and "Gers" and any of those other moronic terms that someone else mentioned don't have the same history that the derogatory use of Japanese does. Besides, it's been touched upon plenty on this site, so I find it hard to believe that folks are still claiming ignorance regarding this issue. And to the guy who came up with all those great plays on nationality, try doing that with Nigerian. Let us know if no one finds it offensive.
