Very very strange, well, if you have given up on the thumbnail thing you can always just use this code:

Code:

As far as I know you can't have a caption on it this way... but I could be wrong. It's not quite as pretty as a thumbnail, but it works.
That'll work. Thanks

My page is nearing done.

I still need to add some tidbits though.

EDIT: lol, I realize that I actually might not have made the deadline.

I hate timezones.
EDIT2: I realized that I can't convert time zones at night.

Thanks shaunj and other judges

.
Also Photoshop was only used to design the interfaces. Most of the time was spent modeling.

Can I say something?

I thought the judges weren't picking photoshopped ones?

We will not be picking the prettiest photoshop job, so just have a go!
Not sure if the judges meant that in the literal sense.

What I got from reading that was that they just won't be picking a winner based on the "prettiest" mock-up (I think many consider "Photoshop" to be a modern synonym for mock-up), but heavily judging based on the actual concept and functionality of the dream gadget.

Great entries by all, btw!

You're completely right..that is EXACTLY what we meant......It means, that if somebody came up with the better idea, but had no Photoshopping skills, he'd probably won..But this was the most complete entry of them all..

Also, Reimu....damn, that's a nice job you did on editing your Wiki!! I really like it (so far, it's my favorite).....but it's still plenty of time for others to submit their entries!

The game glasses (lol):

sketchcqbb.png

The glasses are just for screen&sound. Controlling is done by the controller, Including a slider for accurate actions, like zooming in, accelerating just to a specific point and so on; by the two motion-sensors more realistic movements can be done. And of course you can watch movies & listen to music.
The perfect way of playing games in school without being recognized ;P And if you want to pause, just turn the screens transparent, so you see trough it !

Notes
(1): Button Pin - You slide the pin over the area; Innovative controlling-system for things like speeding/upp etc
(2): Motion Sensor A: For example for watching to different directions in shooters
(3): Motion Sensor B: Another motion sensor, for example for aiming
(4): Card Slots: Memory-Card slot for Games/Music/Movies
(5): This is for communicating between the glasses and the controller
(6): By pressing it, the screens turn transparent and you can see trough it xD

Hm this compo Ill not take part in it... writing isnt my cup of tea

What I'm judging on is whether someone's personality comes through on their wiki. Doing a simple list of what you're into doesn't attract me at all.

Anyway I like to encourage more people to enter and show us who you really are.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
