to get somewhat of a correct translation you need atleast 5 websites, or 5 years of studying japanese language.

Are you using something like Google translator, or you're using some site that has translated script, and you're just implementing it into the skin?!

Either way it should be better than just having a japanese!!

It's better to find your way in the game in Japanese rather than a google translation, it will be even more confusing...

Nah, actually, I have absolutely NO idea what they talk about, because I don't know japanese characters, and this way I could at least catch some phrases in their talk..
But I'm guessing it's really too much of a work to make bad translation..

And I really want to play this game

Hi, yes of course there will be broken laungage an some u read, some what can understand it.
Be glad for one thing I took this job at all also using bable fish from yahoo will try google also now
but after I finish someone can help me touch it up.

Also any one else have script tools for other games I will take on the job.
I took this one because I like this game looks good too.

Well for now here is the % complete score 13% yes thats all i did tested it an oh ya broken english but
even so u know whats going on.

Please don't take this the wrong way. I don't mean to flame you or make you feel bad, I simply wish to share my thoughts. You shouldn't offer to do this for any other game; in fact, you shouldn't be doing this for this game. I hope you understand that google/bablefish translations are EXTREMELY INACCURATE. By extremely I mean the translated outcome will sometimes have absolutely nothing to do with the original text. This reminds me of the Pokemon Platinum thread, where Rykin attempted to translate the text from the Darkrai event using google. The outcome was something impossible to understand, which involved menstruation...

Anyway, what I'm basically saying is that what you're gonna get from the online translation will probably have nothing to do with the original script. We shouldn't "be glad" that you're doing this for us, as you said above. To put it bluntly, you're not doing anything. All you're doing is copying the text and pasting it into a translator, then sticking the outcome of the translator back into the game. Anyone is capable of doing that. We should be glad and thankful if you actually took the time to translate the game yourself, using your own comprehension of the language and translating it from your own knowledge.

Ok now I will be blunt. For one no one is working on this an also if it has some wrong stuff in it I said before
someone can touch it up for me some of the stuff is ok an some of course is not.One thing is
I wish I did learn Japanese but I didnt an I feal bad so I am trying my best to start something that some people would say,
well wow at least he is doing something an not nothing like I also said if it has errors, please someone touch it up.
This translating thing is still eating up my time but it is a long proscess. also I do a few touch ups because the website does
make a few mest up sentances.

Well sorry if I make people unhappy but I like Japanese games an will help in any way so please help me also.

Nothing wrong with that at all, and your enthusiasm is appreciated. All I'm saying is, google translate oftentimes makes things worse instead of better. We'll just have to wait and see how the translation turns out, but like I said before, sometimes it will translate whole paragraphs completely wrong, and no amount of "touching up" will fix it.

Anyway, I'm sorry to have brought this up, please continue your efforts to translate this.

well i don't know the "touching up " you are talking about but then if you are doing everything with an online translator, we would need to 'touch up" the WHOLE ROM because 99% of everything translated will make no sense at all.

Translation tools aren't always useless. google translation helps me navigate megaten japanese wikis pretty well. And I've used Atlas and Devhook to make playing the Legend of Heroes 6 chapters much easier

Sure those things aren't accurate, but if they get the point across about what you should be doing then it's still better than a language you don't understand at all. Since usually there's at least something in the mess of lines that gives you enough clues on where to go or what to do.

I see that you really want to "translate" this. But really, if you are going to continue using machine translations, you will have an ugly result. I'm not trying to discourage you in doing this, but a machine translation can be done by anybody. Using google translate is something anybody can do.
