YES YES YES IT IS AMAZING!!!! The Music for it gets you hooked on it as well its insane its sort of adult like because it has lots of naked girls but censored. Its the perfect balance between comedy, action, and story. Episodes like 5-9 are so hilarious you wont be able to breath after it

Elfen Lied = Lulzy slaughterfest.

If you want more Air Gear you should just read the manga.

yep air gear manga beats the shit of the show. Rozen maiden was okay. there was rozen maiden, rozen maiden second, rozen maiden traumend and rozen maiden overture. Just for the people who didn't know.

hmm maybe i should read the manga it definitely seemed longer.......... and i want to see rozen maiden but my real computer monitor is messed up it is on and so is my computer but it doesnt show anything on the screen at all its totally black and if you hit buttons on the monitor it just says either analog mode or digital but then changes back to analog and says that it is on power save mode and i have to hit any key, the power button or move the mouse and after that it still wont work

Baccano! is a must watch.

It's an excellent show. Only 16 episodes in total, and with extremely good cast of interesting characters. Doesn't have just one main character, and make sure the skip the first episode. It'll just leave you confused and turned off to the real story that starts in episode 2. The story itself is very interesting, but never confusing. Not a generic story about a little boy becoming the best, etc.

It DOES have some serious amounts of gore and violence later on, so just warning you. Still, not as gory as Higurashi.

It's also one of the most underrated shows in 07, and it had a horrendous sales in Japan, for a reason I'll never understand.

I'd say this is in the top ten of one of the best shows of 07. Number one is of course, Gurren Lagann.

The confusion is part of the fun, so watch it anyway and I dare you not to love Isaac and Miria.

Another good anime is Sola, it's only 13 episodes but still awesome nonetheless, it was said to be voted the best anime of the year in 2007.

Could've sworn I saw Baccano! on the school hub here. I'll dive for it in a bit. Elfen Lied was the goriest anime I've seen thus far, so I don't think it's going to turn me off any.

And I'll look for Sola too. Short series are perfectly fine, as long as they're good. =P

Well, if you've watched Elfen Lied, then you won't have any problems with Baccano!

As for Sola, I enjoyed it, but I really don think it's the best anime of 07. Maybe in the top 10, but it certainly wasn't number 1.

Good to hear, actually. EL didn't really bother me much, but at the same time I'm not fond of blood or needles on TV. Weird how that works. =P

And like I said, as long as it's enjoyable, I'll watch it. I mean, I even am in the process of downloading Star Ocean EX because I liked the game, despite the fact I heard the anime wasn't so great. Speaking of...I should probably clear out my HD now that I've burnt off a good deal of what I have.

Edit: Getting Baccano!, can't find Sola. But I can find a lot of things that have "sola" IN them! XD

Elfen Lied is really not gory in my standards haha.
Yeah for Air Gear the Manga is way better (well like most of the anime series that came from a manga root.) Same for Gantz, the manga is still kick ass, Hellsing too and shitload of other anime get their ass kicked by their manga origins.

So for animes I can't help you, but in manga yes. If you like what you see with Monster, you can look out for 20th Century Boy, it's from the same dude. Awesome Manga, really intelligent, and good cast of characther, it's set in the 21century, and it's the story of a gang of childhood friends that wrote a book where a robot would attack the world and they would save the world, when they reach their Adulthood, someone took the book and build the robot. So you follow them as they take on mysterious persona called Friend as he try to dominate the world.

Battle Royal if you like gory manga is awesome, it's gore on the visual side, and on the psychologic side too. Another manga that's way better than is other media (the movie, well I could say that the Book is as good as the manga, it's almost the same only more illustrated and with 2-3 chracther added to do more sense, actually, the new characthers actually help with some flaws of the book.)
